Barbados Holidays

Barbados is the most developed of the Caribbean islands, with 50 miles of fabulous beaches protected by coral reefs, visitors are spoilt for choice with excellent opportunities for snorkelling and diving. The real charm of Barbados is in its culture, with colonial buildings and familiar names such as Brighton and Folkestone, the island is still often referred to as 'Little England'.

Barbados, an island paradise like no other

The stunning west coast offers an abundance of hotels with tranquil beaches and clear azure waters - spectacular St. James is hard to beat. Nearby Holetown is a charming town offering a selection of bars, shops and restaurants. The attractive capital Bridgetown with its impressive shopping area is set on the islands natural harbour and just nine miles from Bridgetown is a selection of small towns on the southwest coast in the Christchurch area, the liveliest being St Lawrence.

The south coast is an exciting mix of the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean and offers something for everyone - the attractive Dover Beach is an expansive beach on the south coast popular for swimming and watersports. Barbados really is an idyllic tropical destination with a year-round warm climate, colourful cuisine, relaxed attitude and calypso rhythms.
