Very comfortable hotel with enormous rooms. Excellent buffet breakfast, plenty of choice hot & cold. 
Some may find the location an issue as it is a short taxi ride to the Medina. There is a modern shopping centre within easy walking distance. 
To pool area is immaculate and snacks are available.

Comfortable rooms

Lovely clean hotel,  not far from the centre of Marrakesh. Stayed here for 3 nights. Great location for exploring. Clean modern hotel. My room overlooked waste ground at the back of the hotel, not ideal,  they are building on this. Couldn't sit out on the balcony as became too dusty. 
Breakfasts nice, buffet style. Rooms modern, large, lots of space. Ordering a lunch time meal was rather tricky, an avocado and egg salad missed two main ingredients! They brought me out some chicken when I asked where the avocado and egg was! 
Friendly staff in the restaurant, minimal bar staff, had to wait ages for a drink. 
Nice pool area. Tried the spa but felt they rushed the treatment. Nice hotel, but could have been anywhere in the world, no Marrakesh touches to it. Feel that's what was lacking. 



Modern hotel, good location

We chose this hotel because it has a lift (I have MS and find stairs difficult). We were not disappointed, The staff are incredibly friendly, always ready to answer a question, open a door or impart useful information. Special mention must go to Abdulatif, Rachid, Hamza, Said and Youssef. Wonderful service from them all (and many others too numerous to mention), nothing was too much trouble. Such care and attention at all times. Thank you! Also, look out for the amazing omelettes for breakfast - fascinating to watch them being cooked to order so rapidly - again thank you. The food was great actually. We ate at the hotel most nights so got to know the menu well!

The hotel is on a busy road, Boulevard Mohammed VI, and our room was at the front of the hotel overlooking it. A bit noisy, I mean you couldn't really sit on the balcony to relax, but it did provide a bird's eye view of the Marrakesh Marathon and the ensuing traffic chaos! Once the doors to the balcony were closed, the traffic noise was absolutely no problem at all. The bed was enormous and so comfortable. I had the best nights of sleep I've had in a long time! 

There is a taxi 'rank' just down the road. It costs between 70-100 MAD to get into the Medina, so budget for 200MAD per day there and back (currently around £16). 

We loved it and would happily go back. Thank you Kech Hotel - your staff are amazing and absolutely made our holiday.

The kindest staff in Marrakesh!

The hotel, unfortunately, does not meet the standard of a 4-star establishment, in my opinion. It likely received its rating based on Moroccan standards, which differ from what I'm accustomed to. I would rate it between 2 and 3 stars.
I will give it to whoever designed the website as they an amazing job advertising what’s not there. The pool and some facilities look nothing like it. 

The staff are weird (excuse my language), not friendly and give cold reception. They look and talk to you as though you’re bothering them. The only good staff are the ones opening the door.

The room was underwhelming, lacking basic amenities such as a kettle for tea or coffee. Our request for an iron went unfulfilled. Water pressure was extremely low, making it difficult to use the facilities. The shower temperature fluctuated constantly, offering little comfort.
We were still sweating in bed with the AC on as it’s not strong. 

The breakfast options were disappointing, leading me to skip the meal on the second and third days. The pastries and bread were stale, and the overall food quality was poor. The hotel's policy of not allowing outside food was inconvenient especially when the food they provide is limited and not that great.

While daily housekeeping is a positive, the staff often entered the room without prior notice after a single knock.

The pool water was consistently cold, making it uncomfortable to swim in certain areas. Guests tended to crowd the sunlit parts of the pool, leaving limited space for others.

Horrible for a 4 star

The hotel is okay.
The staff are TERRIBLE. I have a list of many issues:
- The first night we stayed, they did not tell us that they have a stupid rule of no shop bought food or drink to be brought into the hotel. In 42°c degree heat we bought a 6 pack of water from a local shop to use throughout the week, when we entered the hotel they took it off us whilst laughing at us and acting as if we were crazy for bringing water in. The staff were sarcastic and arrogant. Might I add the 6 pack of water costed 28 Moroccan Dirhams, whereas in the hotel one bottle of water is 35 Moroccan Dirhams.

- The rooms were supposed to be cleaned every day, however at one point of our stay we waited 3 days to have the room cleaned and we asked every day around 3 times each day to get it cleaned, and no one came. They also lied trying to tell me that we had a Do Not Disturb sign on our door which is why it wasn’t cleaned which is completely false. We didn’t touch our Do Not Disturb sign once.

- We also waited 4 hours to use the shower as the plug got stuck and we had to ask about 3 times throughout that period for someone to come fix it as we got told 10 more minutes every time we went down to reception. It could have been quickly fixed but they made us wait.

- The staff members knocked our door at 10:30 pm asking if we wanted new towels, which wasn’t an issue for us but if we were asleep or had we been a family with kids who were sleeping it would have been very annoying and inconvenient.

- The same staff member the next day proceeded to enter our room without knocking whilst my partner and I were naked. He was apologetic but who the hell does that?

Overall, the hotel was an alright hotel, it could have been slightly more modern and the food was average.

The staff were the ones who ruined our stay.  They are sarcastic arrogant and they talk down to you as a guest. Extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming.

 Would not stay here again.
