Great stay with my girlfriends.  Visit Sherian at the Hideway bar at the lobby.  She is amazing and makes the best drinks.  Fun in the sun and easy fun time.   Easy to get around the resort and enjoyed the entertainment at night.  Only thing need to have more availability with the restaurants.

Bianca G and Berry took care of us in a timely manner. Friendly and knowledgeable. A great experience! The wait was minimal whenever we came to the bar. Always engaging with conversation about us and where we were from. It was always enjoyable at Royalton Blue Waters!

The BEST part of my stay at the Royalton Blue waters,  was Tamara who is at the pool Bar. If you stay she is a MUST to get to know! Very FUN happy... and QUICK worh drinks. She was ALSO wonderful with my 2 boys, they LOVED HER! Tamara was also VERY helpful with other information around the resort!  This trip would NOT be the same without her!  She is the DIAMOND of Royalton Blue Waters!

From check-in to check out, our stay at the Royalton Bluewaters Montego Bay was nothing short of spectacular. 
Disclaimer for readers: Our party of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) stayed in the Chairman’s Suite, which is the highest room level on the property and part of the Diamond Club.

To start, I cannot say enough wonderful things about our Butlers, Leo and Demar.
Leo gave us a warm welcome upon our arrival Saturday, complete with a tour of the property and private escort to our room when it was ready. Leo ensured we had all the dinner reservations we needed and frequently surprised the kids with dessert in the suite afterwards. Both our Butlers frequently checked on us throughout our stay, escorted us to dinner, and always provided to the room what we requested. Demar even made a pool cabana happen for us on our last day when we decided just that morning we wanted one… thank you! 

The property was beautiful. Renting a pool cabana is definitely worth it … shout out to Tyrese, AMAZING server! Made our kids laugh by bringing their slushies on his head! Also worth it to get up early one morning and reserve a beach cabana with personal items, as they are first come first serve.
The activities by the vibe team were fun to watch and got everyone excited. The white party on Sunday is entertainment the whole family can enjoy! We loved watching the acrobats and dancing together.
The kids of course enjoyed the “waterpark” activities, complete with slides and a dumping bucket.
The kids club was a nice break for all. Our 11 year old didn’t love it (the club takes kids 4–12) but the other 3 (5, 5, and 7) had a blast! They went for two morning sessions. 

We thought all the food was delicious. Buffet was massive with multiple items and if you can’t find something you like, that is a *YOU* problem. The culinary private dining experience, with a seven course meal prepared in front of you by a personal chef, was one of the highlights of our trip. Definitely such a unique and special experience for our family! Trattoria and Zen were family friendly. My husband raved about the chicken Parmesan and the hibachi was possibly some of the best I’ve ever had! Hunter steakhouse was the perfect spot for date night. We did not try Taj as our family generally doesn’t care for Indian food, but our butler said that was his favorite restaurant on the property if that is something you like. 
Diamond club lounge was nice when you wanted a quick snack or to grab extra drinks.
We found all staff to be kind, courteous, accommodating, and very helpful.

After reading some of the negative reviews and then staying there ourselves, it feels to us that some people just have ridiculous expectations (and also are likely not nice people themselves). Kindness goes a long way and if you treat others with respect, they will do the same for you. If you need something while you are there, just ask!
Also keep in mind, you are on an island! Most of the goods need to be shipped in so if they are out of an item or 2, it’s ok and not the end of the world! Yes, you are there on vacation to be pampered and served, but the staff are not your servants! We were appalled at some of the rudeness we witnessed from other guests. We are all people, and the staff work very hard to provide a good life for their families.

We will never forget our amazing vacation at the Royalton Bluewaters Montego Bay. Thank you to everyone, especially Leo and Demar, for this once in a lifetime experience!

Incredible Family Vacation

Great wknd staycation. Kids love the waterpark, lazy river and gelato bar, while mom loves the a la carte dinner options, morning yoga and coffee bar. The rooms are spectacular- enviable views and well-appointed. There’s something for everyone at the #RotaltonBlueWaters. Special kudos to Kadesha
