My room was cozy, clean, and refreshed daily—really comfortable after long beach days. The hotel is close to the beach and makes it super convenient by offering free beach chairs and umbrellas. Everything felt very easy and relaxed. If you’re looking for a well-located spot with both comfort and convenience, SoCo House is a solid choice.

Stylish Comfort and Easy Beach Access

As a seasoned traveller I would say this was probably one of the easiest check in I have ever had. The room ticks the box. The TV is an Internet TV so you will need logins to watch Netflix etc... I turned it on once and that was it for the week. The safe could do with some small instructions as quite a few people I spoke with had to ask for maintenance to operate it. The pool has very limited space as there are 8 cabanas next to it which can be reserved for a fee. This leaves little room for sunbeds hence many reviews concerning lack of. This was not so much of a problem for my trip as the hotel seemed relatively quiet. The issue for most was there was only 4 parasols for the 20 beds and therefore no shade. The roof terrace has none ! The food I felt was fine and as a whole the waitresses were accommodating. Normally I would not bother writing a review as to be frank I can't be bothered, however on this occasion I wanted to, not for all of the above but to bring something to the attention of any younger female travellers. In the week I was there 4 women I either spoke to or got told about had been inappropriately subjected to, as they said "VERY UNCOMFORTABLE" advancements from a member of the bar staff. The management need to deal with this as one guests comments was they felt this person came across very predatorial. So please take care !

Soco Hotel

We chose this hotel because it is Adults only and small.  On the positive side, the hotel was spotless and our room was serviced to a high standard every day. Staff were always helpful and accommodating.  Work has been done to refurbish the hotel over the last few years but in some areas not to a high standard especially in the rooms.
Our room the chest of drawers had been painted so one draw stuck and one the handle kept pulling off. In the shower area where it had been pained there was paint and cement  all over the floor tiles.  Everyone seems to have an issue with no instructions for the safe. Our television  and fridge did not work but this  did not bother us just little details that can be annoying.  My biggest gripe was food being served up cold or Luke warm. This was addressed with the manager and by the end of the holiday they made sure our meals came up hot. Like others have pointed out there is a lack of sun beds and umbrellas and  those available are past  their sell by date.  The new manager was happy to listen to concerns and will hopefully make changes.  This could be a lovely small hotel with a few changes.  Be prepared for a long transfer especially if you hit the rush hour.

Overall, the hotel has charm and a lot of potential, but it definitely needs some updates. While the room was clean, it felt quite outdated and didn’t match the photos on the website. There was no outlet in the bathroom for a blow dryer or electric toothbrush, which was inconvenient. The shower lacked a curtain, a shelf for toiletries, and a handrail, and the fixed shower head caused water to spray everywhere. The balcony door didn’t close properly due to condensation issues, and the lock was not functional. Additionally, there were no instructions for using the safe, and I had to call the front desk for help.

The food service was quite slow—even something as simple as getting a water refill was a challenge. For an all inclusive I should be able to access food at any time of the day. Beware the meals are at a set time and once dinner service is over, there are no options. While some staff were pleasant, others seemed unhappy and appeared bothered by basic questions. Most concerning, a member of the bar staff made inappropriate advances that left me feeling extremely uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel for solo female travellers.

Despite some challenges during my stay, I really enjoyed the charm of the smaller, more laid-back hotel atmosphere and its older, classic vibe. I met so many wonderful people from Canada, the UK, and the USA, which truly added to the experience.

While beach loungers were sometimes hard to come by around the pool area, I had no trouble finding a spot on the rooftop deck—just a heads up that there’s no shade up there, which was totally fine for me. The beach itself is beautiful, and I’d recommend heading out early to claim a good spot. Keep in mind that it's a public beach, so you may encounter a number of vendors, some of whom can be quite persistent when selling their goods.

SoCo House

On the whole we had a lovely holiday.  The hotel is in an ideal location. I must say that the staff at this hotel are superb - very well-trained, friendly and full of fun - everyone speaks to you with a smile!  The management team are also very professional and went out of their way to be helpful and make you feel welcome
We particularly like Dana the restaurant manager, Cindy and Charles, Chester and the other barmen who were all lovely. Trevor the Manager was great when we had a problem.
Our room was good with great air-conditioning, a very comfortable bed and a powerful shower, together with tea and coffee making, a fridge and an iron and ironing board.
Everything was spotlessly clean.
I recommend taking a hand-held fan as the restaurant can be quite hot at times!
The food was varied.  Sometimes brilliant and other times not so good.  Breakfast was great with superb fruit, porridge and perfectly cooked to order eggs.
The wine was very good and the local Piton beer also good.  The cocktails were some of the best I have tried - excellent!
It is a five minute walk to the beach which is lovely. Shops are a fifteen minute walk away.
On the whole a relaxing and positive experience.

Enjoyable Stay at Soco House
