I highly recommend this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, immaculate, and very comfortable, with stunning sea views. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast.

The hotel also features a nice big pool with plenty of surrounding sunbeds, and a pool bar offering a generous menu of drinks and snacks. Additionally, there is a lovely seaside pathway nearby, perfect for peaceful walks by the sea.

I would like to give a special mention to Valentinos, the Front Office & Reservations Manager, who was very helpful when booking directly with the hotel. He accommodated all of my requirements and made the process smooth.

I also recommend hiring a car to visit the town center in Larnaca, which is just a straight, easy route, taking only five to ten minutes to drive.

We stayed here when dropping a friend off at Larnaca airport.  The staff are really friendly.  The hotel is right on the beach and very clean.  We ate lunch from the a la carte  menu and it was excellent.  Dinner was from a set menu for half board and everything we had was good.  The breakfast was extensive and we had freshly made omelettes.  The room was spacious with a sea view and everything and everywhere was spotlessly clean.  I will use this hotel again.

One night enjoyable stay

A lovely relaxing trip away mid-October with my partner to visit Larnaca for 9 nights half board.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted by staff at reception, who informed us on all of the information needed regarding the facilities and where to eat/drink at the hotel. We were welcomed with a refreshing glass of fresh lemonade. To start off our trip, we were delighted to have been given a complimentary upgrade from a land view to a sea view room!

Starting with the room, it was small but clean and had the most stunning views, stretching from Aiya Napa to Larnaca airport with lots of boats to watch daily and fantastic views of the sunrise daily.

The room itself was cleaned daily within reasonable times, and the housekeeping team would never attempt to disturb us during our stay.

At the hotel, there wasn't much of a selection for breakfast. However, I was quite satisfied with an omelette of my choice each day. Then, surprisingly we were served a set menu every evening for dinner. We were under the impression beforehand that this would be a buffet arrangement however, this was only offered on the last evening of our stay. Plenty of options for lunch (which is of course payable half board) and plenty of places to also eat out at.

The pool area was quiet, and there was never loud music playing, which meant relaxing was always on the cards every day. There were never any young children running around being a nuisance or splashing in the pool.

As for sun loungers, there were plenty at the beginning of our stay, many to choose from. You could pick between around the pool area at the top or choose to be down the bottom by the trees on the grass next to the passers by on the main strip to the beach.

Locating the beach wasn't needed here as right in the doorstep to the property you only have to walk 10 steps onto the sand (if you can call it that as it was very muddy/man made). Again, there are plenty of loungers to choose from. However, this will come at a charge of €2.50 per person. It is a pebble beach as you get closer to the water, so it's highly recommended that if you don't have tough feet, get rock shoes!

The staff at the hotel were remarkable. To start, there were 3 waiters we were impressed with the most, the young gent with glasses who never failed to provide the best service possible, completely runs the show on his own if need be. An absolute joker, a funny guy who made our needs no problem whatsoever and always happy to help with a smile! Secondly the middle aged lady who lived close to the power station, we had great civersations with her, absolutely lovely lady who went out of her way recommending local wines and even took us up to see the roof terrace which is used for parties/weddings! And last of all the young fluent Greek/Indian lady who was extremely polite, she made an effort to always clear our table quickly, check if we needed more drinks and even held great conversation. O e night she even went out of her way to grab me a blanket while sat outside on a breezy night and even took the courtesy to wrap this around me. I would highly like to praise her along with the other 2 bar staff immensely for their contribution into making our trip feel comforting and memorable.

I will last of all finish with the pros and cons to staying at this hotel, I never really like to include a massive argument within my review to explain what was bad but mainly highlight the good but I will leave this honest review to outline what I would have liked to have known before booking here.

Pros:
• Remarkable and unforgettable staff
• Excellent choice of drinks (alcoholic and soft drinks)
• Great location to the beach
• Quiet area of Larnaca and not at all busy
• AMAZING views from the sea view rooms
• Easily accessible from the airport (20 min drive)
• Promt check in/check out service
• Quick and effective maintenance team

Cons:
• Most (not all) food is frozen and heated
• Pool is not cleaned around the sides and only cleaned for debris
• Some furniture in the reception area and rooms and could do with a deep clean
• Sun loungers also need a real good bleach or scrub, body fat is clearly visible
• Housekeeping tend to leave long black hairs laying around your floor and bed quite often
• Ashtray on the balcony is not emptied daily
• Minibar was never replenished
• Our rooms shower heads were covered with limescale and the tilling on the floor needed a deep clean badly (we reported both to reception upon arrival and they had the shower heads replaced immediately!!)
• Tea/coffee mugs and glasses in the restaurant for breakfast were always dirty
• Beach towels were slightly worm out and used, some with rugs and pulls
• Drinks and food are extremely over priced
• Roadworks right outside of the hotel at the time of our stay which could be noisy at times although this is not at all the hotels fault.
• The events were very loud, sometimes lasting until 1am so if you are on the left side of the 2nd floor looking out at sea, be prepared to bring ear plugs to mask this

Overall, if you're looking for a cheap budget holiday like we were and are prepared to stay 4 star then this is what to expect. However, we did thoroughly enjoy our stay as it was relaxing and the staff made it 10 times better than it could have been. We would consider coming to the area again but perhaps only visiting the hotel for a drink next time.

October Stay at Lebay

LeBay is a true beach hotel, situated six klicks outside of Larnaca with easy access to public transport and guided tours. The best rooms are facing the ocean, and I loved waking up to the sunrise and the sound of the waves. The rooms are nice, clean, and spacious, with an individual balcony, a minibar, and a comfortable bed (not soft). There are two restaurants, one for breakfast, which is really nice, and one for everything, also with a bar. Food is good, and prices are reasonable. The staff is the best feature. As all Cypriots I met, they are friendly and helpful. I should also mention that they have one of the best hotel gyms I’ve ever experienced.

A true beach hotel with a friendly staff

Can’t recommend Lebay Beach Hotel enough. One of our party fell ill on journey over from the UK and all the staff were very helpful including finding us a doctor at late notice. The manager personally stepped in to make sure everything was ok. Great location, lovely beach and pool, can’t say more than that!

Great hotel, highly recommend

This lovely hotel is set in Larnaca. The 48 welcoming accomodation units offer a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. The property includes Wi-Fi internet connection in all public areas and accomodation units. Travellers will appreciate the 24-hour reception. Lebay Beach Hotel does not offer cots on demand. This establishment's common areas are disability-friendly.
