A perfect location for families, as the beaches are within 200 m distance. Great breakfast and dinner buffet, which offers for all tasts great greek and continental food. Very kind waiters and the whole hotel team fullfill nearly all wishes.

Marvelous family holiday

We wanted to find some nice place for our son to be close to the sea due healthy reasons. Our grandmom spent here 5 weeks and our son 4 weeks. We came for one week. We had an  excelent time experiencing  a fantastic service. We enjoyed a great location and tasty food. We felt like being home with old friends. Thank you. We are looking forward to come again. Outstanding experience.

We arrived at the Hotel on a very windy evening but were greeted by a nice Lady receptionist who made us feel very welcome.
We were happy with our room with an outlook to the mountains with a partial sea view.
We had a view of the Hotel car park but it didn't bother us.
The beds were super comfortable and the room was big enough although the shower room was a bit cramped and the shower cubicle didn't give a lot of room to turn and one thing of note is there was no shower mat so used a small towel as the floor was very slippery, we managed but i am sure if you asked for a shower mat the Hotel would provide one.
We aslo had a fridge which was very handy and a safe at a reasonable charge.
The Rooms and the Hotel were spotlessly clean and also the restaurant and special praise to the staff of disinfecting the tables after each sitting.
We had one issue where we had to wait for a table after booking our table for 7.30 and somehow we lost out to another family who came in after us only to find out later they had aslo been waiting but this wasn't explained until the following morning.
Many thanks to Babis who spoke to us explaining what had happened.
On the evening i did speak to Christina about the situation who didn't fully understand what i was saying therefore it was simply miscommunication but in general we got on ok and just moved on and forgot about it.
The food was simply superb with every dish you could think of and the best food we have ever had in any Hotel.
We were mesmorised with all the different dishes and with our daughter being vegetarian we thought we would struggle to find enough for her to eat but not so as there were so many vegetarian dishes alongside meat dishes.
Unfortunately i was wasn't very well some days but nothing to do with the food or Hotel but my wife and daughter made up for anything i couldn't eat!
Overall i would certainly give the restaurant five stars plus.
The pool was very cold but the sea was warmer so my daughter loved tackling the waves.
The resort was fairly quiet especially where the Alianthos is situated being at the far end of the shops and bars.
There are two nearby Supermarkets which were handy although very expensive.
There is a beach bar called Ammos where you can use the sun loungers and parasol as long as you have a drink which i though was very reasonable.
The girls at the bar were very friendly and the man who serves drinks on the beach.
We has a lovely Pizza for 8 euros and some vegetarian pittas for 6.5 euros which were also superb.
We had a lovely holiday at the Alianthos and special thanks to Chris at reception who was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.
The resort is predominantly German and if you rely on having a chat with fellow guests you could feel isolated unless you can speak German.
We did think there was a preference to the German guests in the resort and at times were quite rude pushing their way in at the shops but surely our money is as good as theirs.
We will return to Plakias in the future but hopefully it won't be so windy!
We arranged a taxi transfer with the Hotel which were very good and even greeted us at the airport with bottles of water.

What a lovely Hotel

We enjoyed our week in this nice hotel very much! It started with an excellent transfer service, followed by a nice service crew. The food was really excellent and we enjoyed a very relaxed and never overcrowed buffet! There is no over-tpurism in Plakias and it still has a real Greek athmosphere and clean beaches!

A wonderful week in Greece

Absolutely fabulous hotel very well appointed. Excellent friendly staff. We’ve never stayed at such a welcoming friendly hotel 10/10. 
Also I have mobility issues the swimming pool has proper steps as access to the pool which is gradient to only 1.5 metres. Our beautiful room No 5 was on the ground floor and the shower had a handrail for safety. 5***** for thoughtfulness.
