Beautiful and comfortable room,  with a great bathroom and shower!  The included breakfast offered so many choices, including several delicious homemade Greek foods. The staff was very attentive, helpful and friendly!  Great location in Argostoli!

Wonderful Hotel

A lovely hotel.  Have stayed several times over the years.  Breakfast selection was better than in previous years.  Very close to the central square but quiet.  Think the trees surrounding the hotel need to be cut back as you can't see much from the balconies in several of the rooms. The breakfast area outside is dark because of the trees.

Good Central Hotel

This place is a shambles!
Booked a premium room for 7nights, checked in to our so called premium room with garden view, the garden view was straight across at a guy's flat with all his washing hanging over the balcony.
The balcony was tiny and not as described, glass shower cubicle in the room with zero privacy from the flat opposite.
We asked to move rooms & were moved to a standard room at the front of the property, the next morning, the entire contents of the air con unit emptied all over the TV & dressing area with water everywhere.
We were told we had to change rooms again, 3rd room in less than 12 hrs!!!
This room was next to the original room so aswell as the neighbour staring straight at us, we now also had workmen drilling, using an angle grinder and swearing & shouting for most of the morning.
Breakfast was ok but by this time, we'd already made up our minds that this place was a shambles and we were no longer prepared to stay here any longer!
We booked another hotel for far less money which was absolutely stunning compared to this so called Boutique hotel!

I cannot emphasis this enough, if you want a quality stay in argostoli, this place is not it!
No cocktail bar, garden bar was not open and totally overgrown, horrible place!

Poorly advertised & extremely misleading!

Book it at your peril!

Trying to be something it clearly is not!

The hotel is well located, close to the harbour and main square. 

BUT it isn’t ready to receive guests at the moment. We weren’t told until we arrived, but the place is under renovation. There is a team of builders in from 8am. They are cutting tiles, using the one lift building materials. It’s noisy, dusty and clearly unfinished. There are temporary, cheap, green carpet tiles in the hallway outside our room, to catch the dust. 

That said, the staff are friendly and helpful, and I’m sure it will be lovely when it’s done. Give it a miss for now. Maybe give them a call before booking to see when renovations are finishing.

Not ready for guests

Hotel was a building site. Should not have been open for guests. Heavy drilling and machinery from 8am every day. We spoke to reception but did nothing to help. Rain came in through the skylight. Please avoid. We had to change hotels and they did not care. Were more concerned with trying to charge us the tourist tax as we walked out

Shocking. Avoid.

The boutique hotel Alley Boutique Hotel & Spa  enjoys a central location in the heart of Argostoli. It offers 29 elegant rooms and suites with balcony overlooking the port. The famous beach of Makris Gialos is 8 km away.
The rooms are decorated in light colours and tasteful furnishings. Each has a marble bathroom, and in-room amenities include an LCD TV and free Wi-Fi.
The capital of Kefalonia offers a wide array of chic restaurants and shops. The beaches of Lassi, Platis Gialos and Gradakia are nearby. The Archaeological Museum of Argostoli is a few blocks from the hotel.
