We absolutely loved our first stay at the Paspalis Hotel can truly see why so many people return here! We are already planning to return once more next year, as this was our first trip to Kefalonia and there’s so much we didn’t get to explore. 
Paspalis is a 3star hotel because it’s just a small taverna with rooms and a pool. 
But the view is 5star, the food was fantastic the staff are so friendly and the cleanliness is great. 
My only slight niggle was the lack of hanging space & shelving in our room. But we got around that and the huge balcony with sunbeds made up for it.

Fabulous 1st visit to Kefalonia

My wife and myself stayed for a week recently with jet2.
Hotel is situated in a prime location across from the beach and within a 10 minute walk to the centre of Skala. 
We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and were saying in a ground floor room number 29 with a small private rear garden terrace. 
Room was smaller than expected but very clean and we had a proper double bed. The only drawback was a clothes rail which was fixed to the ceiling and wall above the kettle which was a bit unusual but with no space to have a wardrobe, it did the job. My wife is very petite and her evening dresses were folding up ontop of the dressing table at the bottom so any lady more than 5ft tall would have struggled to hang their clothes up without them getting creased.
Air conditioning was and extra €30's for one week and a safety box was available for an extra charge although we've always found holidaying in Greece we have never needed to hire one.
Hotel has a lovely pool with plenty of sunbeds with parasols and serves food all day in the bar area or in the restaurant on the sea front.
All the bar and restaurant staff including the cleaners worked very hard and were excellent and very polite and friendly. 
Breakfast was buffet style with a choice of a cooked breakfast with toast and spreads and a cold buffet with hams and cheese. Unlimited cold juices and coffee and tea. Pastries and yoghurts with honey and fresh fruit. Breakfast was the same every morning but was ample and freshly prepared  if you wanted anything different like a poached egg or an omelette etc, the staff were more than willing to make this for you.
The restaurant had a good selection of beers and wines and the evening menu had a good choice from local Greek dishes to pasta's and fresh fish.
All in all if you are looking for a quiet, superb location stay, this hotel is perfect.
The only couple of niggles which is no fault of the hotel were some people moving sunbeds in the early hours around 7am, and scraping them along the ground placing theirs towels on them. This is something that unfortunately seems to occur from selfish holiday makers thinking they have the right to reserve their own sunbed. Another issue would be with the free WiFi. Unless you were staying near to reception then the connection wasn't very good but all in all again both of these issues were of no fault of the hotel.
I have rated our stay 4 out of 5 for the simple facts concerning the lack of a wardrobe, the poor wifi and the sun bed scrapers!!!

A pleasant stay

We did not stay at Paspalis,however we had lunch there for several days.
The reason we ate there so many times were twofold.
Firstly the food was excellent and secondly the staff are amazing.
The waitress in the snack restaurant Chrrissa is a first class waitress and has waited on us for several years.She works almost entirely alone whereas the guys in main restaurant have help.On one occasion during a downpour of rain every table was occupied and she worked efficiently with a smile the whole time.
Mr and Mrs Paspalis we hope you appreciate what a diamond she is and that it is down to your staff that so many of us frequent your restaurants.

Amazing Staff in restaurant and snack bar

Loved our ten days here.  Great location.  Lovely breakfast with amazing view.  Room (high floor) was good.  Staff especially (Carrisa) in bar was so nice.  
Nothing not too like about this place.   
Will return.
Went to lots of local restaurants in Scala town, which was a short walk away.  
Enjoyed captain Vangslis day trip.

Amazing place.

This hotel is situated just a five minute walk from Skala’s Main Street opposite Skala beach.The food is excellent as are the hard working staff,especially Chrissy and Yannis.
It has a great vibe for those of us that are over 50 and the bar area is great for a lunch or pre dinner drink.
The pool area is well kept as are the rooms and there isn’t any dawn rush to save a sunbed.
The only consideration is that most of the rooms lack a degree of privacy as the toilet and shower areas are enclosed with frosted glass which wasn’t particularly popular amongst some of the guests.The same applies to the small public loo/shower area.
That said, this is a well run, good quality hotel and I would recommend it.

Good atmosphere ,great location

This comfortable hotel can be found in Skala. There are a total of 43 units on the premises. The property includes Wi-Fi internet connection in all public areas and accomodation units. The hotel provides 24-hour reception. Cots are not available at Paspalis. A fee may be chargeable for some services.
