General view

Facilities at this hotel are decent, although no extra enthusiasm about any of it. White and black finish with tacky gold painting ala Klimt. Pools are cold, one that looks like Jacuzzi was dirty. Toilets in common area were dirty, and surrounding area around pool was just not clean daily and feel where sticking to spilled drinks and sand. everywhere you could see staff accommodating that was tucked away with personal laundry hanging out.
 
We are not a super fans about all inclusive packages but it's a comfortable solution when you are want to travel with 3 year old and 9 month. 
In general hotel is run by young people, with management that you can see just sit all day and do not walk about the hotel to see what is happening. 
Owner and friend are sitting in the corner of the hotel drinking every night, manager just stay at the reception on the phone all the time, and restaurant manager talk to waiter with very poor manners. 
Entertainment team nice, but playing only Italian songs and from my observation was doing activities only when BIG boss was walking about with clients or business partners. 

And food was just terrible! 
Frozen cheap kebabs, burgers, fish and meats, frozen vegetables and very basic salads, lack of fresh tomatoes. Habits that that was notice at the resort over the days were concerning, risotto with mussels served one day for dinner exactly the same following day for lunch. Same frozen kebabs, and very dry meat. Snack bar only served pizza, half's hotdog sausage in a bun and gyros that was setting in hot hold for very long time, and was not very hot! 
In general food was luck warm, very bland and taste similar (tomato and curry). 

Last day, our flight was not until the 7 o'clock with two kids we wanted to keep the room. So we paid €60, and in that price we got disturbed twice when we had a nap before our flight, and at 5 o'clock housekeeping team got in the room, stay turning it around. Moving all our belongings, binned our prepare bit for a toddler that we have left on the side cabinet, moving beds and just getting it ready for next quest.
When I report that to reception bunch of kids that was working on start smirking, whispering thinks in Greek and manager came in and said that this is an addition arrive that hotel offer as we extend our stay.

This hotel still think only about turnover, making sure that people will come and will not return!

Zeer goed complex, wat ouder maar geheel gerenoveerd. Helaas geen verwarmd zwembad maar verder alle faciliteiten prima in orde.
Wij hadden een familiekamer dat was prima met balkon en uitzicht op het zwembad. Balkon ‘‘s ochtends in de zon is prima!

Goed complex met prima faciliteiten

Nous sommes très déçu de notre séjour au Virginia Family Resort. L’hôtel est récent et propre mais les infrastructures ne sont pas à la hauteur d’un 4* ! Aucune piscine chauffée malgré les températures fraîches, les parties communes sont trop petites par rapport au nombre de vacanciers, impossible d’avoir une table pour prendre un verre le soir. La journée l’hôtel est plutôt calme mais le soir il y a des bus complets qui arrivent et l’hotel est surchargé. Aucune activité proposée en cas de mauvais temps, tout est payant (billard, jeu de palet) et à l’extérieur de toute façon, il faut avoir de la chance avec la météo. L’hôtel ne se traverse pas de l’intérieur, en cas de pluie vous serez donc trempé pour aller manger ou rejoindre votre chambre. Concernant le buffet, une catastrophe également, j’ai fait beaucoup d’hôtel en all incluse et c’était clairement le pire que j’ai eu, pas digne d’un 4*, à peine d’un 3* … peu de choix, toujours la même chose et sans saveur. Le pire c’est le buffet du midi qui est en fait un simple snack et pas un vrai buffet. On sent que l’hôtel fait tout pour limiter les consommations et tire sur tout ce qui est possible pour maximiser leur rentabilité. Toutes les boissons sont servis uniquement dans des verres en plastique, le choix de boissons du all inclusive sont vraiment limitées. Et le comble, enceinte de 7 mois je commande un mocktail, on me sert un verre avec de l’alcool dedans car aujourd’hui ce cocktail n’est pas un mocktail ! Heureusement que m’ont mari a vu le serveur prendre la mauvaise bouteille…
La plage est à 150m avec une belle pente pour la rejoindre, mais elle n’appartient pas à l’hôtel donc soit on se met directement dans le sable, soit on doit passer par des plagistes privés mais actuellement rien n’est ouvert.
Les seuls points positifs que je retiens c’est que l’hôtel est propre, les chambres ont été refaites récemment et le personnel de la réception est sympathique.
A savoir également que la taxe de séjour à prévoir est de 10€ / chambre / nuit soit 70€ pour une semaine.
Bref si vous souhaitez passer de bonnes vacances, choisissez un autre établissement.

Mauvaise expérience

A really disappointing experience, I have to be honest.

First of all, there were two plug sockets in our room that were actually hanging away from the wall. You could see exposed wiring, how has that been passed inspection or health and safety standards? I informed reception and within a few hours, this was fixed but it shouldn't have been that way in the first place. The location is also less than ideal, the so called beach near by is a let down, full of rubbish and not well kept at all. The beach bar has also closed for business so it's deserted now too. Signage in the hotel also needs some work, trying to figure out where things are was quite a chore. The all inclusive food and drinks were again quite poor. Food is almost always look warm and rarely ever hot. It's a 50/50 chance whether the food is going to be any good or not. The all-inclusive drinks are what you would expect, the cheapest quality possible. The restaurant also has stray cats roaming about covered in flea's which the hotel does nothing about... Extremely unhygienic. The single bar near the reception is also understaffed. Lastly, despite the leaflet they give you when you first arrive stating opening times for the hotel supermarket, it always closed about 30 minutes earlier than stated, same for the meal times. I wouldn't come back, even if I was offered to stay here for free.

A complete let down

From the moment I arrived i knew the customer service was going to be top notch.
Welcomed by friendly reception staff who were informative & helpful.
Allocated a quiet room to back of complex which suited myself & daughter .Lift to floor which was very clean and room was contemporary &  great views across the bay.Room was comfortable,mini fridge & kettle. & 2 cups, dressing table & 2 open rails with hangers, safe , plenty of sockets. Spacious bathroom with hairdryer , glasses for toothbrushes.
We were fully inclusive which was a first for me, and it was great value for money.
I cannot praise the dining room staff enough, seen over by very experienced blue-shirt team, smiling, friendly and attentive who were there morning noon & night for the 7 days we were there!
Michaela was my 5 star waitress who when she wasmt clearing tables poured a magnificent tequila sunrise at the bar.Always smiling , chatty and nothing was too much trouble.I would love to see her progress to a blue-shirt team member!!!
Food availability & choice was superb.my fussy teen was able to try a scoop of this & a bit of that.
Speciality nights catered for at the gtill and at least 15 different choices for breakfast, lunch dinner.
We were there when they opened the lunch pool room and this meant you could eat on the terrace( poolside).
Entertainment team with the fabulous Florian made the poolside fun, yoga, pilates, kids club.....all just fabulous.
Choice of pools, gym( albeit small) were accessible and clean.
Management are present and integrated with guests to ensure they are all happy.
As an experience traveller whose first all inclusive holiday was here I cannot fault anything and it felt like that pleasing their guests was a priority but effortless and that was lovely to see.
