We chose to give this hotel 5 stars because from the moment we stepped into this little corner of tranquility we were welcomed by the most helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble and we were greeted with welcome cocktails with the choice of alcohol or not, and a wealth of information from Athena on reception with everything we needed to know about local restaurants to the bus service and places to visit. 
Hotel was exceptionally clean with an impressive commitment to sustainability. Breakfast was fantastic, served between 7am right through to 11 which is ideal for those wanting to sleep in a little later. Rooms were clean, bright and full of character with comfortable beds and pillows. We were celebrating my husbands 50th and came back to our room to find the bed covered with rose petals and a beautiful birthday message. Kouros village hotel is a real find and we can highly recommend 👌🏽

Outstanding

A beautiful hotel with very friendly hardworking staff, they couldn’t do enough for you. We were originally in room 119 which we had some initial issues but after speaking with reception we were promptly moved to room 113 and offered a free cocktail which was greatly appreciated.

The hotel is a 2minute walk to perissa beach with a variety of restaurants to pick from, limited in terms of menu variety but delicious fresh food…I had a Greek salad everyday and every restaurant had their little take on it.

I would recommend a car if wishing to travel around the island. Buses are available but limited and you have to travel to Thira to change which can be stressful as they do get busy and as other people have mention they do not wait.

Thira and Oia are worth visiting but get very busy. Oia in particular I would suggest going early to explore and then finding a bar or restaurant to watch the sunset as once the crowds build up its very busy and unlikely to get the pictures you want.

Back to the hotel, I have no complaints a large selection for breakfast and the girls are always promptly topping up drinks and clearing plates. Food is available at the bar until 4:00 and although prices are higher than the strip there are lots to choose from and delicious…my partner particularly liked the pizza.

Just a watch out that there is hotel tax of €7 per day when you check out.

Overall one of the most beautiful holidays we went on, wonderful staff, friendly guests and couldn’t have asked for more. If like me you troll through reviews to find a fault, book this hotel. You won’t be disappointed and the sunrise on the beach is something not to miss. It was more beautiful than the sunset at Oia in my opinion.

We couldn't fault anything with the hotel, super friendly and helpful staff! Gorgeous rooms which are cleaned daily, the best bed we've ever stayed on! A great location for getting around, the beach and restaurants on your doorstep. We can't wait to come back

A perfect stay

We had such a lovely stay at this hotel. It was the perfect size for us and had the “luxury” feel we were hoping for. 

We stayed in a deluxe room with a private hot tub on our terrace. It was definitely worth the money and we love our view of the pool. The bed and pillows were comfy. The room had a blow dryer and plenty of space for two. 

You can’t beat the location- it is walking distance to plenty of restaurants and the beach. 

The breakfast was the best we had had in all of our travels in Greece!!

Definitely would book her again.

A lovely small hotel, adults only, well kempt, the room was always tidy and smart... Anna was very good, even decorating the room with bougainvillea petals for my birthday!  The staff were always very friendly and polite. Good swimming pool, though a grab rail around the edge would have been helpful for those poor swimmers! 
Overall a lovely hotel which I'd recommend.

A lovely hotel

This hotel, built in traditional Cycladic style, is located in the south coast of the island, approximately 50 metres from the famous beach of Perissa. Fira is around 18km from the hotel, where guests will find a more lively and touristic atmosphere with a variety of bars and taverns of local character. The hotel offers a friendly service along with a comfortable stay that will guarantee a memorable holiday.
