DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. you get in a lift and you are transported back to the school toilets where your find carvings of who was ere!!! The bedroom door you needed to lock this from the inside this is a fire hazard but maybe their rules are a little more lax than ours? 

The Single bed in the room looked like it was on carboard boxes. The room was dark and dingy and smelt of cigarettes and the view was not like any pictures on here!. The reception area looked nothing like the pictures they obviously hired a really good person to take the pictures. 

If you want to go to a dark dingy road but like to go out for a beer then this hotel could be for you however if you want a nice relaxing time away I would avoid like the plague. I went with a friend we did not feel safe in the hotel or the area and had to leave.

Did not feel safe

Room and bathroom were very clean. Had everything we needed. Location is nearby to bars, restaurants, beach etc. 

Downsides were the beds were uncomfortable, also very loud at night time especially as our balcony backs onto the Main Street with pubs full of loud people. Staff were quite unfriendly.

Cheap place to stay if you’re on a budget

Hôtel bruyant: depuis la route jusqu’au personnel le matin dont les voix résonnent dans les couloirs.

Les fenêtres laissent passer le bruit de la rue et le froid, avec une vue sur les intérieurs des voisins.
Les murs sont fins, la douche et le siphon refoulent et il y a des trous dans les murs

Les couchages sont sommaires avec deux petites couvertures pour nous couvrir et un seul deuxième coussins.

Petit déjeuner médiocre et le personnel ni aimable ni souriant.

Le parking libre dans la rue n’existe pas et le personnel ne sait pas plus décrocher un sourire que vous conseiller.

Seul standing ovation pour la dame du petit déjeuner qui a illumine notre séjour de ses gentils mots et de ses bons conseils et qui sait accueillir.

Vraiment médiocre !!!

Positives-
Very clean room and bathroom 
Beds were comfy enough and husband and I slept well
Staff were helpful and friendly. They can seem to have a brisk manner but that did not stop them being helpful and polite. 
Location was excellent for local amenities. 
Safe in room included in price 
Rooms had a fridge so could keep some provisions in there if needed 
Air conditioned room 

Negatives -
Room used for breakfast is very small so you can end up waiting a while for a table as it always seemed busy 
Breakfast was a basic continental no hot food available other than toast 
The hotel is well placed for local amenities which means there is outside noise. This is not the hotels fault this my review does not penalise them for this

3 star hotel which did not disappoint

Two week stay on room only basis, kettle, cups and glasses supplied. Our studio had a reasonable sized veranda, not much of a view, but in the centre of town one can't expect else.
Good location, just around the corner from 'The Square' (currently being renovated)
Hotel is showing its age a little, but rooms are clean and a good sized bathroom with shower. Hairdryer supplied.
Rooms serviced daily.
Reception staff friendly and helpful, the lady can appear a little brusque, but once you get to know her is lovely and helpful.

Good central location

This 3 star hotel is located within the city of St Pauls Bay. It is close to the St Pauls Bay. The Hotel has an outdoor swimming pool. All 40 rooms are equipped with minibar, hairdryer, safe and air conditioning.
