We booked as a four day get away, with the photos and general reviews looking good on Booking.com. Upon arrival, staff were really helpful and allowed us to access our room early which is always welcome when you’ve been travelling since 4am. To say the photos were outdated were an understatement. The hotel is in desperate need of freshening up. The decor and condition of the rooms were very poor, toilet door wouldn’t shut, marks all over the walls, chipped tiled floor, uncomfy mattress, poor lighting. It’s safe to say this hotel is often used by people utilising the nighttime economy near by. This was reflected in the corridor noise throughout the night right up until 6am. We didn’t hear much outside noise but our balcony backed onto the void of the hotel. The food was above average and a good selection of pool snacks. The hotel was genuinely clean within the communal areas. Do not be fooled by the photos, the rooms decor do not match throughout the whole hotel. Location of the hotel is good, close to the beach, close to the town with lots of restaurants, and I’m lead to believe very very close to the main strip. I would not recommend the hotel if you are wanting a quiet chilled few days away! This hotel definitely suits a younger, outgoing group of people!

It was okay…nothing like the photos!

Room was ok, not spotless, there was mould around the shower tray, sink’s were grubby from wear and tear. The bed was comfortable and our room was facing a quiet street which was good. Breakfast had an array of options which ok. It’s a 3 star hotel and it can be seen.

The hotel is ok. Beds are good. Showers are a bit unpleasant and the shower gel / shampoo looks like it’s been purchased from the supermarket and usea for a long time. You should bring your earplugs with you to sleep well.
Breakfast is good and it wasn’t too busy there. Some receptionists were a bit unfriendly.
All in all an ok 3-star experience

An ok-experience in a 3-star hotel

This is 2nd visit in Alexzandra hotel all the staff was good just improve the breakfast and all good location,atmosphere was good and their happy hour amazing thanks to omkar who work in the restaurant has good attitude,smile and behaviour keep it up bro see you soon.

Try to go their pool bar

I stayed with a large group of 25 people (friends and family) for 5 days. The hotel is excellently located, although the area is a bit noisy. I especially want to mention the extremely kind manager Aldo and the receptionist Dhiraj. Staff was very good, great breakfast, overall experience is excellent.

I will come again!

This hotel is located at the centre of the city, in the famous St. Julian district, and is within walking distance from the nearest local beach. The hotel is located in the Paceville area of St Julians, full of restaurants, bars and clubs, only 450 m from Spinola Bay. The hotel is 8 minutes' walk away from the Dragonara Casino and 300 m from St Julians bus terminal.
