From the welcome to the breathtaking views this hotel is an Epic. Clean and beautiful rooms the staff is very friendly and welcoming . We loved the breakfast. The hotel also smells  goods . We loved our stay . We would recommend  our family and friends to stay at this hotel.

Epic Stay

The service, food and drinks in LIMA was amazing!! We loved the Italian PASTA, and COCKTAILS! Patricia, Mahdi and BEATRIZ, 🥇 were absolutely brilliant servers and were so helpful! 😍🤍 we will definitely be back! Great value brunch with a fabulous atmosphere..

AMAZING LIMA RESTAURANT ❤️

We have loved our stay in a duplex garden suite. We were half board and also visited Lima, Uddo and Al Quima - all excellent. The staff in all restaurants, from the buffet to the a la cartes have been outstanding, especially the two women at Lima (sorry, don’t remember their names). The hotel has a wonderfully relaxing vibe and is situated so close to the beautiful Falésia Beach, with truly breathtaking walks, especially the cliff or beach walk to Vilamoura. We really didn’t want to leave! We hired a car (fantastic price and well organised by reception staff) and toured around. It is one of the most beautiful areas we’ve visited- we can’t wait to return. 
Just a couple of negatives for us- the main one being the disappointing experiences we had in Blumm bar. Firstly, the staff were neither friendly nor attentive. Secondly, the cocktails were really poor (especially at 14 euros each) and thirdly, during April the evenings are cold - no heaters were on and no-one was inside, just someone singing to themselves in the kitchen area so an unpleasant atmosphere. We tried a couple of evenings then gave up. The second slight disappointment was the lack of any child/baby free spaces, especially in restaurants. (Although the children were very well behaved, with the best will in the world babies and toddlers sometimes make a lot of noise). The area around the Residence is lovely for children with play area and kids club but many families were near the adult pool too. I’m not sure if it was perhaps the time of year but families greatly outnumbered couples. Still, on the whole, our lovely room surrounded by peace and nature was a delight. If it wasn’t for the bar experiences I would have definitely given 5 stars.

Beautiful place

It’s the third of our ten night stay here at Epic Sana Algarve and we are absolutely delighted with this superb hotel and amazing staff. 

We arrived on Monday when Portugal was hit by a huge energy blackout. We couldn’t believe what this hotel was able to deliver under such circumstances. In fact we didn’t even realise there was an energy issue until a member of staff asked us if we had seen the news. They went above and beyond to uphold their incredibly high standards and delivered a faultless dinner service. Since power has resumed, they’ve really showed us what they can do! Our room is lovely, the hotel facilities and grounds are beautiful. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, excellent service providers, and all so well presented. 

The hotel itself is an oasis of calm. The attention to detail is exceptional, with cleanliness and extra ‘comforts’ a top priority. The hotel’s location on a stunning beach is a huge plus. The hotel’s pools are wonderful. This morning I did laps in the largest pool which was glorious, and this afternoon I enjoyed the heated pool which was so relaxing.

My husband and I are keen gym-goers and were delighted to find such a well equipped gym. There is also a timetable of classes included. I tried the Yoga this morning and was very pleased. An excellent class suitable for everyone. 

The food and drink at the hotel is some of the best we have experienced. The bar staff are skilled cocktail craftsmen and their knowledge of each ingredient is very impressive. I was introduced to a local gin which is one of the best I have ever tried. I can’t see myself drinking anything other than Portuguese gin from now on! 

Food wise, we have been truly impressed. For healthy foodies, the Epic Sana is a dream come true. With a plethora of fresh, healthy and delicious options to choose from. The highlight for us so far has been the Japanese restaurant this evening. Wow! Incredible food and service.

We can’t wait to see what the rest of our stay has in store for us. The Epic Sana has exceeded our expectations in every way. The thing that makes this place so incredible is the staff. Each and every one of them has been amazing. Having previously worked in the hospitality industry, I am so impressed to see the manager constantly doing his rounds, overseeing everything, and ensuring only the highest possible standards. 

Don’t hesitate to stay at this phenomenal hotel, or to visit one of its exceptional restaurants.

Wow. Incredible in every way!

This fabulous resort hotel is just a short walk from the sandy Falésia beach and fifteen minutes outside of Albufeira on Portugal's southern coast.
