Best experience of my life, so many restaurants and bars and the entertainment is first class! The entertainers are very inclusive and love to talk, I have 0 complaints! I hope to be back soon this place was the best experience in a while! 5 stars all deserved!

Thrilling and chilling

The hotel was delightful! The food was a different theme everyday. Fresh food every time! The pool was something different! My children made friends because of the entertainment team! The entertainment team was the greatest ( Kathe and Mauricio). They made my kids want to go kids club all the time ( I’m over the moon). Thank you for the opportunity of coming to this delightful hotel. Mangan Martins.

IMPORTANT NOTICE IN REGARDS TO GOOD REVIEWS - THE MANAGER GOES ROUND TO PEOPLE AND PUSHES THEM TO WRITE A GOOD 5 STAR REVIEW AND WATCHES YOU WRITE IT!! MY LOT WERE LUCKY THAT I SAID WE WILL WRITE ONE LATER!! 
I don’t write reviews often but here goes nothing. This is all honest, coming from someone who doesn’t expect much from a 3 star hotel. I’ve been to many and this is by far the worst. The rooms are okay, clean in my room however my mum found a cockroach the size of a mouse in hers! With regard to the rooms we were self catering but then brought half board while we were here. Whatever you do, do NOT get half board or all inclusive. The food is limited and dire per adult was 30 euro and child 15 euro. Not worth the price for how bad the food is. It’s extremely limited and one night my sister had raw chicken… everything seems to be oil. There is some questionable things that are put out such as carrots and green beans for breakfast lol. If you got self catering there is no oven. We also had no plug sockets in our bedroom. The extractor didnt work either which made the apartment very humid even with the doors open. The pool is freezing cold. Location isn’t great, there’s nothing around. Pictures are very deceiving and when we booked with jet2, they were showing the other hotel rather than this terrace so go careful. Entertainment in an evening was okay but I suppose for the couple hours they are there anything is better than nothing. But there is near to non in the day for kids at the pool. The pool is also smaller than it shows on pics. The sweet spot is fine, the staff are super friendly and attentive. My only complaint about the sweet spot is the guy who managers the entertainment going around pestering us to write a good review, by asking my partner to get his phone out in front and tried to make him write a 5 star review on TP. My other half looked very uncomfortable as we haven’t had a 5 experience to warrant a good review so I said we will write it in our own time as he was watching and standing over us. To me that’s a big no no and now has made me second guess all reviews that state the name of “Mauricio” as he was the one that asked about us writing a good review telling us to put a 5 and was watching over us! Don’t get me wrong the evening entertainment is okay but it’s definitely not a 5. However the rest of the staff in the sweet spot who serve and make drinks are are pretty good. There isn’t much to do at this hotel. Everything is just extremely limited and you get the bare minimum. It can also be a little noisy too as everything is tiled. Not really the hotels fault but I thought I’d pop it in as you can hear everything but nothing ear plugs can’t fix. With the sister hotel, it seems to be much better but please note, if you but with terrace you cannot use their facilities such as the better pool etc.

Ukino terrace honest review

We went all inclusive the food was terrible flys all swarming around in the restaurant. We had a family room supposedly however they had just put 2 single beds in the living area. The reception staff are extremely rude would not recommend staying here at all and won’t be going back.

Very bad experience

We arrived early & our room wasn’t ready however my 8yr was tired so we was offered a room on the top floor, not a problem as we are all physically able, two large balconies ,nice view overlooking the pool & the sea, also overlooking the entertainment/sweetspot.rooms are spacious, two single beds, large mirrored wardrobe & draws, the living room has a sofa bed which can be made in to two single beds. There are pillows & warm blankets , towels provided, mop & bucket & sweeping brush, kitchen equipment, fridge freezer, toaster kettle , cooker etc. The block smelled fresh & cleaners are friendly. We were self catering, the nearest supermarket is 10 minutes up the road on foot, (paths are very narrow ),there is an outdoor laundrette outside the supermarket & across the road theres a gas station.The area is beautiful, there are alot of steps to get to the beaches so be prepared to exercise, the worst thing about staying here was the noise, doors slamming day & night, the cupboards in the kitchen slam shut if your not careful & the hotel could invest in some door stoppers , the place echos & i was grateful for the recent blackout as i finally got some sleep. If your looking for splash park & entertainment then ukino village next door has more going on but all in all despite the sleep deprivation i would definitely return, the staff were polite & helpful & we had a great time

Ukino Terrace

This property is 5 minutes walk from the beach. Terrace Club offers an outdoor pool and apartments with a well-equipped kitchen, just 350 m from Praia da Nossa Senhora da Rocha. The property features a coffee shop and a buffet restaurant. All apartments are sunny and have large windows, some overlooking the ocean. Each one has an open-plan kitchen with full-size fridge, 2-hob stove and a dining area.

The coastline nearby can be explored using the property's rental bikes or on foot. Guests can also relax with a book in the lush garden. During July and August, Terrace Club has a poolside bar and live music. Children have access to their own pool and a playground.have an outdoor pool, gardens and a playground for children to have a great time, buffet restaurant and a cafeteria.

The 24 hour reception is at Be Live Palmeiras Village, just next to the apartments.
