Pool

The location is perfect. You can easily walk to the Old Town Lagos where a ton of restaurants are located. Almost all are locally owned and authentic. Very safe even at night. The hotel is across from the Marina with nice views and walking. The train station is very close and you can walk if your bags are not too bulky. Uber was easy to get to visit  Sagres and Portimao. There is a fort down the street and a great beach area with rocks. Great scenery. There is also a very wide beach just a short walk away with a boardwalk. The breakfast which we included was fantastic with very professional service. All employees were great especially Diogo and Luis in the restaurant. Food was superb and you can have as many things as you like. The room is adequate and the bed is comfortable. Highly recommended.

Just perfect

This is a lovely hotel in a great location with a top notch staff.  Great views, comfortable room, easy walk to marina, beach, Old Town, restaurants, bus or train stations.  Excellent breakfast with extremely pleasant breakfast staff.  Would definitely return!

Excellent hotel in Lagos, Portugal

Great location next to bus station and walking range to the train station and old town this property was a great selection for our 4 day stay in Lagos. Friendly helpful staff and spacious clean rooms along with rooftop bar and pool provide for a relaxing stay. Only room concern is that the toilet is not overly private. Breakfast included provides a wide selection of options both hot and cold. Minor issue is that the breakfast is not available till 8 am so if you have an early tour start you need to source other options. Note hotel does offer a box lunch.

Great property in Lagos

Lovely hotel with a convenient location. Very clean, comfortable beds and outstanding staff. We were originally placed in the owners suite but were moved due to an issue with the shower. To me, our new room was better than the owners suite. Still had the same view but was quieter - better insulated. The staff was very apologetic and always went out of their way to make you feel welcome. We opted for parking behind the building for 10 euros per day. There is also free parking two blocks away. Breakfast was included in our rate and was top notch. Highly recommend

Lovely hotel and staff

Great location. Could walk to the beach. Not very far from the train station.  The breakfast was amazing!!!! Friendly staff. Loved the rooftop pool area. Was the most relaxing part of our Portugal/Spain trip. Stayed for 4 nights. Had great weather.

Located in Lagos center and 700 meters from Meia Praia BeachLagos Avenida Hotel is set in Lagos city centre and within a 10-minute walk from Meia Praia Beach. There is a roof-terrace with a infinity pool and amazing views to the Marina and to the sea. During the winter (Nov. to March) the pool is heated.

All modern rooms offer a balcony or terrace with views of the marina or city, air-condition, flat-screen TV and a bathroom with toiletries. You will find a 24-hour front desk at the property. The nearest airport is Faro Airport, 80 km from the property.
