Superb hotel, great location, friendly staff and excellent food.
This was our second visit, wont be the last.
Martello (not sure of spelling) in the restaurant is a gem and really looked after us. Old town Benidorm at its best. Well Done team RH

Great Visit

If you're looking for a bespoke, unique, boutique hotel where you're not just another number and offers that personal touch, then this is the place for you. 
Names such as Marcos, Carlos, Marcello, Tatiana, Sylvie, Ishmael, to name just a few, will mean nothing to you now. But once you've stayed at The RH Canfali, you will feel like you've known them for years.
We stayed for seven nights, breakfast included. We opted out of half board as We wanted the choice of trying other local restaurants. However we decided to have dinner in the hotel one night. (Ravioli for two including drinks €40) which was absolutely outstanding. 
As other reviews have mentioned the location is exceptional. Situated in the old  town, with a short stroll to the promenade.
Everything is on your doorstep, shops, bars, restaurants and cocktail bars etc. 
The true acid test to a fantastic hotel is how many times people return, Us included.
Thank you all so very much for such a wonderful stay.

Not just another number

The hotel Canfali exceeded our expectations on a number of levels.but above all the staff are what really count at this Hotel. They were friendly courteous and professional nothing was too much trouble. The room we stayed in had a balcony with amazing views over Levante Beach and the island out at sea. The room was clean and spacious with good space for clothes ,the shower was great with optional rain shower head .The bed was super comfortable and afforded us a great night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious with a good list of options from full English,  Mediterranean and healthy. We have  no coffee machine at home and a little unsure how to use the coffee machine, so the friendly reception staff member offered us a quick demonstration on how to use the coffee machine in our room, He made it so easy to use, thanks.

Hidden gem

You know when you stay in a hotel and it’s so good you don’t want to tell anybody about it in case a glowing review reduced your chances of getting a vacancy next time? The RH Canfali is one of those and here I am stupidly writing a glowing report. I expect a discount next time.
Just a fabulous place. The best spot in Benidorm on the promontory between the old and new towns right on the edge of a cliff. Two minutes from Tapas Alley.
For years I was very snobby about Benidorm and this is my second visit, my first (with my partner) was at the Hotel Costablanca on the promenade and was not bad. The Canfali was way better.
Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Lovely breakfast served on a balcony overlooking the sea.
Particular mention to Marcella in the restaurant and Christian on Reception. These guys were very helpful, pleasant and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. It was nice to meet you Señors.
There is a church just a few meters from the hotel. It rings the time every 15 minutes during the day (not at night). I found it charming and it didn’t bother me at all, but it’s worth knowing for those who are a bit grumpy about these things 🤓
If/when I go to Benidorm again I will book this hotel. Just please make sure that you don’t and leave it all for us.

I am not surprised this hotel is so high in the ratings had fabulous room 203, we’re able to check in early and out late, the view was amazing and location perfect. Breakfast was excellent so many choices and served to you not buffet style.  The jacuzzi on rooftop was fantastic the only thing I would say is some of the high table and chairs could be changed for deck chairs. The hotel was so clean and I wish we could have stayed longer than the one night but thank you for making us so welcomed.
