Hotel itself was lovely. Very Clean. Well appointed & Modern.  Good bar prices. Great shower, Nice Balcony. Our room request was accomodated & we were glad to be able to check in at 2pm. Phillipenes Bar is amazing as is the Suprise Attack but we did have some niggles. 

The room smelled slightly of sewerage each time we walked in. The lifts took ages at busy times but our biggest negative was the food. Although the same caterers as the Ambassador 1&2 / Riviera it wasnt anywhere near as good. Very little selection at lunch / dinner & sausages pink in the middle every morning at breakfast. I also spoke to another couple that said the food isnt as good as their sister hotels. 

Overall I was happy with my stay.

Nice hotel

good location good entertainment very confusing lifts plates in restaurant not heated hence food gets cold very quick this is more like a 3 star hotel we last stayed in the hotel venus over the road a 3 star hotel where the food was much better and plates that were heated but room walls paper thin so we wouldent return only difference with the presidente the walls are better sound proofed but that doesnt it make it a 4 star so if your happy to eat cold food this is the place for you, average hotel wont be back

More like a 3 star hotel not a 4 star

We honestly couldn’t fault this hotel!  This was our first visit to Benidorm and it was beyond our expectations.  Our room was on the 8th floor and was kept spotlessly clean.  The food was amazing - so much choice at every meal sitting.  The entertainment was good - although some of the acts were a bit ‘niche’ for a general audience.  We just went elsewhere if there were acts we weren’t keen on - there are loads of places to choose from across Benidorm!  
We would definitely return to this hotel and met several couples who had done exactly that.

Lovely hotel,staff work hard to keep up a clean,room dining room,lovely big shower,clean towels everyday,
Centrel for shops,benidorm centre is 20mns walk,
Plenty pubs around,great entertainment in ajoining club to hotel tribute acts,philliphine 10,be back next year,stay good as you are,

I have stopped here many times the first being 11 yrs ago before the refurb.. and probably 8 x since
As people say, perfect location,
Rooms modern and cleaned daily if needed
Negatives I’ve noticed over last 2 visits in 12 months.. rarely any fresh veg.. appears to be frozen apart from runner beans and during our last stay a week ago, in 5 days we had  roasted new potatoes one evening( which were perfect) the other 4 were chips, curried potatoes., patatas bravas and chipped potatoes with skin on , but because we choose to eat later, very dry, same as meat and fish cooked and left on side.. so eat early!! Plus great salad bar but don t really want to have that with braised beef and gravy…
If you do want to have a drink on your balcony and want some ice.. it’s 1 euro 20 for a glass at the bar to take up!!🤣 and after your 1st use of tea and coffee in room once gone you have to pay for replacement so take your own and buy some milk out there 
Great to have entertainment on site in Philippines 10 , but again eat early as if you don’t you can’t get a seat as non residents can use club ..saying that the bar staff are really good in there. 
Would still recommend here but little things starting to change 
All I would say is chef.. fresh veg please and just good old fashioned boiled, roasted and canary style potatoes .. there’s enough chips out on the streets of Benidorm
