Fabulous stay at Sandos Monaco. Now my new favourite hotel in Benidorm. Staff are Fabulous,  so attentive,  pleasant, can't do more for you. From arrival to leaving,  everything about my stay here was fantastic! Spotlessly clean, big shout out to all the cleaning and house keeping staff - you do an amazing job! Restaurant and bar staff- so friendly and attentive,  they really look after you. Reception staff - top notch, always welcoming,  really helpful and want you to have a fantastic stay! Food- brilliant,  plentiful and fresh. Fish cooked so beautifully, paella is a highlight for me, fresh fruit, salad, meats just look at pics. As a solo traveller, I felt so welcomed and safe,  very important to me. Location is fab, 10.mins to.old town which is my favourite. Spa- I booked a massage and it was great. Staff so professional and caring. 5 star and will be back. Think I need to join the loyalty programme as you have taken over from your sister hotel Benidorm Suites as my favourite.  Well done to all and a huge thank you from me!!! Gracias xx

Amazing hotel and staff, you won't be disappointed!

Great location in between New and Old Town around 7-10 mins walk either way.
Room is nice and big.  
Sadly the food is not great lack of choice and caters mainly for fish eaters.
No sun around the pool until at least 2pm which is most of the day gone already. 
We asked a staff member to assist in helping with an umbrella due to many being broken and the answer was ‘sorry we cannot help’. You’d never get that in a ; or above star hotel.  Our air conditioning wasn’t working and the toilet was broken and we was told it would get fixed the following day, we was staying on the 15th floor so everytime we needed the toilet we had to go all the way down to receptionist, again you would not get this service in a 4 star or above hotel. 
Overall it’s disappointing and for what we paid it’s not worth it we ate out everyday breakfast and dinner and skipped lunches.
Entertainment was poor. They advertise a colours and white party but the whole time we was there neither was on. 
Such a shame as we heard such good feedback but having stayed in many hotels 4 or above stars we were not used to this lack of service.

The hotel was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful.  
We had never been to Spain before, but was pleasantly surprised at how easily we navigated Benidorm.  Language was no problem, most people spoke a little English.
The hotel was very clean, and room had everything you would need.  Getting a spot around the pool was no problem.  The bars were well stocked with every kind of liquor.  There was a bar menu to select and try new drinks.  Snacks were always available as well.  We arrived at midnight and hadn’t eaten dinner yet, the bar staff made us a very nice ham and cheese sandwich.  
The location was perfect.  It was a short walk to the beach and Old Town.  We did our walking around the city in the morning or evening after supper.  There is so much to see here and walking was so easy to navigate.  They rent scooters if you have problems walking, and they are available all throughout Benidorm.  
I had been warned that Europe did have a lot of pick pockets.  I bought a secure travel purse for the trip, but the city felt very safe.  One evening we went for a walk about Old Town and a gentleman stopped us to warn me my purse was open.  I was surprised and thanked him for the warning and closed my purse. 
Shopping is a plenty all throughout Benidorm.  If you have forgotten something you will have no problems replacing it.
The food at the hotel was very good.  There is something for everyone.  I have stayed at a lot of all inclusive hotels and this one had the best  food, as well as best assortment.  There is always an area for vegetarian as well.  
The front desk staff are very friendly and always there if you need help.  If you require extra pillows or something for your room, it happens fairly quickly.  
There is so much to do at night.  If you want a quiet evening, you can just sit out on the balcony and watch the Sunset. Their bars downtown you can go to visit if you want a more lively evening. Or just stay at the hotel and watch the show. You will always find something to do at this hotel in this area.
I will definitely be going back again.

Third time here. Won’t be returning.food has really gone to the dogs.lots of choice but when it come down to quality of meats etc,. Tough as old boots. Over cooked fish. I had veal one day you could have repaired your soles with it. Stay are the best and hotel in good position. Shame but food is a big part of holiday when you have already paid for it. Entertainment was similar to a holiday camp. My friend thought the same. Also other people agreed

Definitely not 4*
Nice reception area, with complementary Prosecco. Lovely reception staff. 
Go to room…dated, chipped dark wardrobe and furniture. Shower over bath which wasn’t great. Rooms visited daily and beds made and tea cups washed, but that’s it. Same clump of dust and hair in a corner for over a week. Water glasses not washed or changed. 
No sun on the pool til after 1pm. Sunbeds a nightmare at times with people reserving with towels before 9am. However, the young, blonde lifeguard was fabulous! If approached, she didn’t hesitate to remove towels that had been there for hours. The signs say they will be removed after 40 mins…not true! I asked at reception one day and was directed to the lifeguard, (dark hair) who was terrified to act. 
All inclusive….Ive never spent so much on food on an AI holiday! Awful! Breakfast tasteless Tough, salty meat every meal (sorry, duck was tender, just too salty to eat!) Ham awful. Beef wellington was laughable…overcooked beef in pastry…no other ingredients as per beef wellington 🤣Mushy veg, either salty or bland. Salty rice. Worst pizza and pasta I’ve ever tasted. Nothing complimented anything. Dreaded meals, so didn’t bother for the last 3 days. Custard EVERY dessert but nothing to put it with. Dessert selections very poor! 
Drinks aren’t great either. Nothing is cold enough. Cocktails pre- made and weak. Beer weak. Ask for Smirnoff if you want vodka. 
States no hen or stag do’s…few stags when we were there…roudy and inconsiderate. Woken at 2.30am with them coming in from a night out. 
Staff, all but one, were fabulous! So friendly. The two girls doing the entertainment…should be very proud! Great job (although some acts are questionable, but gave us a laugh. 
Great location, that can’t be faulted! If you get chance, visit the Soul Bar in Calle Ibiza…you won’t be disappointed. 
I won’t do an actual holiday in Benidorm again, maybe a few days.

Not 4 Star

This adults-only hotel is located in the centre of Benidorm, a few minutes' walk from Levante beach. There is a plethora of restaurants, bars, pubs and shops in the vicinity. Public transportation can be found just 120m from the hotel and there is no shortage of activities in lively Benidorm. This hotel is ideal for a fun-filled holiday under the warm Mediterranean sun.
