General view

Stayed  in August.  Basic hotel ok if you just want somewhere to lay with a nice balcony with sea view. Basic bathroom and bedroom. Could do with a refurb… Breakfast… ok, provided you get the freshly cooked pancakes etc. Dinner was a hit and misss.  Entertainment was for the elders. Pool was small so we just used the beach which was literally opposite hotel, 2 min walk. Excellent location. Took a trip to Aqualand Torremolinos Water Park which was amazing!

Basic hotel… beautiful Sea View saved the day!

I'm just back from my second stay in Hotel Alba Beach.
Another great stay.
The hotel is well located at the junction of Avda Las Palmeras and Avda Antonio Machado (the N340 coast road). There are nearby bus stops for coastal buses and also for service to Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmádena Pueblo.
There are many nearby bars and restaurants to suit a tastes and budgets.
The hotel rooms are comfortable and my only possible criticism is of the bathroom size but I have always visited alone so no problem.
The staff throughout are friendly and helpful.
The main bar is good and comfortable, entertainment is in an upstairs bar and so leaves the main bar more peaceful.
I only had breakfasts so cannot comment on other dining. The breakfast offering is varied and comprehensive, it certainly provided a good start to my days! 

Second Visit - Great! 

This hotel was fabulous :) 
There were some works in the hotel which meant the lift was busy at times bit this is the only negative.
The room was cleaned daily we saw no bugs at all. The food was delicious and as a picky eateries always found something to enjoy. The staff were pleasant and all round this was one of the nicest hotels we've been to. The location was fab too highly recommend

Brilliant hotel

I’m 40 years old and consider myself a seasoned traveler.  This is by far the worst restaurant I’ve ever seen. Canteen slop, and literally no fresh fried ‘meat” being cooked.  No rotation of food for nearly an hour whilst staff conversed in the corner.  Not once in three days did staff even ask if I’d like a drink with my meal.  I’ve had better offerings in the army scoff

McDonald’s is the saving grace

A nice stay about 20 mins from the airport 31 euros by taxi.  😊We had a very friendly welcome, 😃the room was clean and tidy,  the beds were comfy, great views from the room of the beach and the mountains. We had sun for most of the morning. Food was ok, warm but rarely hot. Although the soup was hot 😊 staff in the restaurant work hard, but didn't really chat or acknowledge you. Ask for a pool view if you want sun in the afternoon and evening. You can hire  beach/pool towels from reception 5 euros each with 15 euro deposit.

Good for a short holiday

This pleasant hotel is situated just a stone's throw from Benalmádena's Torrequebrada Beach on the Costa del Sol. It features 2 outdoor pools, 2 bars and a restaurant. Numerous boutiques, cafés, bars and restaurants are found in the neighbourhood. The Torrequebrada Golf Course is next to the hotel, the Benalmádena Casino can be reached within a short walk. Málaga International Airport is only a short drive away.
