Pool

The appts were finished  to a good standard but dishtowels and some washing up facilities would be helpful. They were cleaned each day, however if the room floors were brushed as well, that would have been better as continually felt the need to brush the soles of feet if not wearing flipflops. Our rooms were very close to the exits to the  boardwalk and thus the beach which was very good. The main restaurant was a 5 min walk from our apartment and the staff lining up to welcome the guests at 6.30pm was a nice touch. The food was tasty enough with something for everyone. The nightly mini disco was welcomed by our 5 and 2 year old grandchildren. The poor barman in the marina bar could have been assisted by a colleague as at times was busy during the disco. All in all, is a nice place and the staff are all very helpful. The big test is would we return and the answer is yes. We enjoyed our week and the sun shone most of the week with 20° sunshine the norm. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel welcome.

Sixth time at this accommodation on self catering basis so I'm sure you'll tell from the amount of stays that Barcelo continue to have high standards as always :) and we continue to enjoy our stay!

Barcelo Fuerteventura Castillo apartments

we have been visiting Caleta for last 20 years , have watched as Barceló updated and improved. have used food and bars but never stayed. this year was the first time . As usual we did self catering which give us flexibility. We where pleased with the staff , the room cleaning and facilities and the fact we could still charge anything from the Barceló group food and drink bars to the room .and prices were very reasonable.

We loved our stay at this hotel, the weather was fabulous for February and made the perfect winter break. Lots of positives about the hotel, location 10/10 food great, cleanliness fantastic the cleaners came in daily and do a brilliant job. The snack bar on the beach perfect for an early evening cocktail and ice cram for the kids. Just one negative the pools are cold at this time of year and all apart from one are salt water, as my son has eczema this really restricted us from using them. 
We would definitely return, especially in the winter months.

Great hotel for a winter break

good beds, good breakfast buffet and good dinner buffet, good pool area, excellent pool exercise session every day at noon. 1 minute walk to the beach - you can walk barefoot to the beach - the tiles on the pool area can though be very hot when you come back from the beach. lovely wind from the ocean cools you down when it's hot. nice buffet at the pool area. very easy to get from hotel to shopping centers and other grocery stores. This hotel and the restaurants in the area are also gluten free friendly for those who are gluten sensitive such as I. The beach is lovely and has one big area and smaller beaches beside which me and my kids enjoyed slot, we got to see small fishes when we dived with basic swimming glasses, very nice. we hope to come back because this area is much more relaxing than Tenerife. The gym is also nice. The massage in the fitness center was very good, and the facility was also very good with nice showers, cold tub(ice bath) and hot tub, and hot indoor pool and a colder pool outside. The only thing that was hard to tolerate was the pigeons howling in the morning and evenings - I then just used ear plugs. so, I can say I like this part of Fuerteventura very much.
