If you are looking for peace, wellness and tranquility the Palace is the place to be. The colonial design, the beautiful gardens, the fabulous pool area and that is before we get to the glorious golf course. Whilst the Palace is amazing it is the team of staff who work here who make it top class. Headed up by Mercedes with her magnificent eye for detail, assisted by absolutely perfect in every way  Pilar the Queen of the Palace who knows guests by name and treats them all as if they are her family, the reception staff led by the fantastic Aneta  who works so hard to ensure all guests are happy ably supported by Camilla, Valentina and Lola who are learning their trade from a real master. The restaurant staff led by amazing Ali, magnificent Malud and the tremendous Tania. All the team are amazing with Cuban Yamilla, Laura, Theresa, Carlos, Angel, Yareli and many others who look after guests tirelessly. As always the hotel is immaculately clean, the food is fantastic - well done to all the chefs and the service everywhere is always impeccable. 
But on this visit one thing is missing- the beloved hotel cat Elba who entertained many guests for 18 years sadly passed away last month. Many guests will miss her quality control checks around the swimming pool and the courtyard and her love of saying hello and welcome to all guests and getting strokes and cuddles in return. As someone said she had 18 years living in a 5 star hotel ! Elba certainly lived her best life and her spirit lives on in this hotel. 
This hotel is fabulous if you want to rest and recharge. Modern, noisy and brash it is not but sophisticated old world charm it has with abundance with an absolutely fabulous team of staff. Elba Palace is royal by name and nature - the Palace is simply the jewel in the crown.

This hotel surpassed our expectations. The attention to detail and craftsmanship in creating this hotel was excellent. All staff were warm and welcoming and would go the extra mile to meet any needs. Beautifully clean , food excellent and the perfect size for us as we prefer a more personal sized hotel. Could not fault it. The golf course was well maintained although the bunkers had no sand and were solid. Two pieces of advice if going on a golf holiday. Pre Book your buggies and arrange taxi transfers (stating golf club carriage before you arrive regardless of your booking agents advice. Many taxis refused to take us  due to 2 sets of golf clubs as well as cases.

A fabulous hotel

Beautiful hotel. Very peaceful and relaxing. Staff are fantastic. Private spa is an absolute must, I can’t recommend this enough. 
Onsite gym is good, could do with some more equipment.. but it did the job. 
The food is sublime. 
I would highly recommend staying here.

Relaxing getaway

We spent a week at the Elba Palace Golf Hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, luxurious and well equipped. The hotel is on the golf course and we played every day. We were half board. The buffet breakfast was comprehensive and delicious. Dinner was a lovely experience. The appetisers/starters and desserts/cheeses were an arranged in a delightful buffet but the main meal was served at the table from the a la carte menu. There was also a specials themed menu nightly. Following golf we some times  had snacks/drinks in bar/restaurant overlooking the golf course. We used the  jacuzzi/spa ( which could be booked  in hour slots) to relax and it was warm enough to sit around the pool during the day. Although the pool temperature was quite brisk. There was also a paddle board court available to use. A complimentary shuttle bus ran to Calle Fuste but taxis were only €5/6. The staff throughout the hotel were pleasant and welcoming and the staff at reception were helpful. Thank you for a lovely holiday, we are looking forward to spending another fabulous holiday at the Elba Palace again.

Golf holiday

Just returned from The Elba Palace following multiple visits. The hotel is exceptionally run and meets all our requirements. Breakfast and dinner are both good in nice environments. We were staying for 2 weeks and the hotel was full. We requested to change rooms to a pool/golf course view with balcony which was accommodated within 2 days. This was professionally dealt with a minimum of fuss. 

Ali oversees a great team. 
The staff work continuously hard and are a credit to the hotel. Theresa and Yamila work tirelessly at breakfast and always with a smile. 

A mention for Andrea, Aneta, Tania, Nuria, and Angel who are friendly and professional. 

Pool area is relaxing with lots of loungers. 
We are looking to book our return next year.
