Lovely complex ,very peaceful nice pool areas plenty of sunbeds .Booked an apartment through Booking.com, very very basic apartment, on arrival the kettle didn't work.Literally in the lounge area was a two seater sofa, a small circular table and a tv which  wasn't geared up for uk visitors ( not that we wanted to stay in but just to catch up with the news ) no sky news !! Kitchen area very basic ,a two ring induction hob ( took ages to fathom it out ) small fridge and a few plates and 3 cereal type bowls !! That was it basically .Bedroom had two single beds pushed together  but were soo comfy .Shower was fab very powerful in bathroom ,but a massive let down was the fact there wasn't a change of towels ,bedding in the whole week !! Literally 3 small white hand towels ,good job I came prepared with bath sheets !!
And very sparsely issued 3 tiny loo rolls ??? Ended up buying a pack from the Hiper Dino supermarket  next door .
Good location for town ,beaches etc taxi rank close by and bus service too .Would stay on the Complex again but would have to be a home from home apartment fitted out correctly. 

Apartment 118 

This ‘hotel’ has really gone downhill. We first visited in December 2021 and whilst it was basic it was spotless and there was an actual reception to report issues to if needs be. Now it is just a WhatsApp number. I believe the reception does open but we have no idea of times. This year I am actually disgusted at the state of the apartment, the black mould in the shower is something else, we’ve been here for 3 full days and have not spotted a housekeeper yet! There is a mop & brush on the balcony so I’m assuming housekeeping is a DIY affair? My sister has a larger family than I and is residing in a Bali Suite, it is so ill equipped in terms of basic kitchen items and utensils that she’s had to borrow from my and my mothers apartments as well as buy some items. My mother had this exact suite in 2022 and it was excellent. The WiFi is non existent. We are in room 168, and it is pitch black outside the room at night. My husband is visually impaired and he is struggling to get around. There are lights in the hotel grounds in close proximity to our room, but they are not working/ not turned on. There are so many loose/ missing tiles in the children’s pool, it requires some TLC. We were so looking forward to our visit as we had such an enjoyable one 3 years ago, however we have been severely let down and will not return. My parents are here on their tenth visit and have decided that, sadly, this is their last, I think this speaks volumes. I’m literally giving it 2 points for location.

Not what it used to be

back recently from a christmas break with my daughter to atlantic gardens. rated by jet2 as 3 star. it is 1 at best. we got there on saturday afternoon & there was no reception team we needed to access a key via safety box and let ourselves in. so no option for a safe on arrival for money passports & cards. my daughter is 15 so we obviously do not share a bed & i made up the sofa bed for myself, or tried but they had only left enough blankets and sheets for the main bedroom all of which were disgusting with blood make up and general dirt & no pillow cases for the grubby pillows. it was chilly too, so we ended up sleeping in our coats with some of the less dirty bedding and our beach towels so barely any sleep of course! i went to reception sunday & the bar said there was no reception team at the weekend & to come back monday, this on a 5 night break and i have nobody on site to give me some clean/extra bedding, shocking. the whole room was filthy with spiders webs, marks & dust, no safe still either on sunday my only option was to spend ages texting and whatsapp'ing various jet2 staff to try to sort some were useful some useless but either way taking my holiday time up on the phone when i should be relaxing was not ideal. someone rang me late sunday afternoon to say they could sort & leave the bedding & towels in the room with a safe key, i had reported no tv remote too this followed later, but zero english language channels not even bbc world service. the room remained dirty with a spiders breeding ground with eggs on show in the kitchen window & i could write the word filthy on the wardrobe shelf in the thick dust, sadly after i had already placed my clothes in there. on returning to the room after a late lunch to make up the beds etc, i was amazed to find our front door was left open anyone could have walked in and at this point we still had no safe and there was a tablet a phone cash money and credit cards alongside passports just sat on a bedroom shelf how hard is it to lock a door behind you! we got on with the holiday as best we could but the room was rubbish, paying extra for a pool view room was pointless as such an overhanging balcony meant our downstairs room got zero sun all week. there were no coat hooks, no lock on the bathroom door, the fridge buzzed all night so sleeping a few feet away on the sofa bed was a nightmare, the front door lock was broken so you could not internally dead lock for security, the bedroom door so warped it could not be closed, 1 plug in kitchen for toaster kettle and microwave so this made breakfast more time consuming than it need be, put an extra socket in or at least an adapter. one female bar staff, the colombian looking lady was very rude and never smiled all week we were there, shouting oi and ringing a bell to collect your own food order etc, but she clears the tables so a bit odd she cannot served to you also, even when you tried a little spanish with her she screwed her face up and said what i dont understand, when she clearly did as i have decent holiday spanish after 35 trips to the island, she just chose to be rude and borderlne racist and not a fan of the english maybe, perhaps she is in the wrong job then if making guests feel uncomfortable and like you are doing them a favour, its not all inc, we do pay for the limited food and drinks on offer so at least pretend to be happy and paint a smile on! i see jet2 no longer offer this place on their website so maybe we were the last unfortunate guests to visit before they pulled out and the hotel just gave up from that point knowing they were getting no further jet2 custom into 2025? either way a terrible holiday experience and we would never set foot here again, even if it were free its really that bad, i do not feel like i have had a holiday at all. the manager tried to make things right on the last day with a 50 euros credit at the bar, i said i dont really drink but will get some food then. well we tried, they do pizza and burger & chips - that is literally it. no salads (even though there is lettuce cucumber onion and tomato in the burger - so you could but you are just lazy and do not want to) not even toasted sandwiches or omelettes on offer, all these things take less than 5 minutes to prepare, very poor. we opted for one of each, it was awful inedible junk, the burgers were the kind you find in brine in a can, vile and a stale rock hard pizza, both were left not even a third eaten, i had a couple of beers and my daughter a mocktail then we took some crisps and ice cream back to the room to try to get closer to the 50 euro credit offered, although i appreciated the gesture it does not make up for the overall experience, lack of reception team at the weekends, filthy room and bedding on arrival and thereafter and general poor standards that atlantic gardens now offers inc. the terrible food options and customer service at the bar, best avoided.

1 star at best

Upon arrival the check in process was quick and the staff member was really friendly and informative. We never saw anyone at reception again. Upon entering the room there was a strong fusty smell. The room had just been “cleaned”. The skirting areas were full of dust. The fusty smell came from the bedroom and it took a while to figure out it was coming from the headboard. It was so strong we slept with our feet at the headboard but in all honesty, if we had the money, we would have checked in somewhere else, it was that bad. It was so unpleasant that it spoilt our experience. We attempted to raise the issue at reception but every time we went the door was locked and no sign of life. Sent an email that bounced back. The apartment was very run down with mouldy sealer and cracked shower base, and generally looking tired. The bathroom door kept sticking and when leaving the apartment the door wouldn’t always  lock. I stayed in the Lanzarote Beach Mate in 2020 and I was so impressed with the cleanliness and decor that I was excited about staying at another Beach Mate resort. It was very disappointing, the standard was massively different. Aside from the uncleanliness, gross smell and looking old and tired all the little touches were missing, such as cushions on the settee and lamps in the living room. It was very basic and unwelcoming. Location was great and the pool area was nice but there were a few loose tiles that were sticking up; a definite tripping hazard and only a matter of time before there’s a broken ankle.

Too smelly for comfort, run down and unwelcoming, but good location.

Location is fantastic.
The pool areas were lovely and bar staff super friendly.
Grounds are kept beautiful.
Apartment itself was ok and wasn’t expecting much as only 3 star, but it is quite lacking for self catering and found we had to eat out more than we were going to due to the lack of utensils and equipment to be able to cook, it is barely self catering, would have been easy to add a few extras at minimal cost to make cooking easier, also lacking in plug sockets in the kitchen.
Apartment was fairly clean but bathroom could do with a deeper clean, whipping a mop round doesn’t always do the job and the floor needs someone to get in to the corners and edges as they have got pretty dirty.
Disappointed that the double bed was 2 singles pushed together and they wouldn’t stay together and made up with single sheets so there was no  point even pushing them together as with single sheets we still ended up sleeping separately.
The place wasn’t awful and for a 3 star ok, but unfortunately we probably wouldn’t come back due to the points above, I booked self catering because I wanted to cook, so next time I would either find somewhere with better facilities or book a hotel.
We still had a nice stay.

These resort is surrounded by beautiful palm tree garden and lush vegetation, are located just a few steps away from the nearest beach, commonly named as Waikiki, in Corralejo. Within a 15 minute-walk, guests will be able to reach the Protected Natural Reserve, and an amazing landscape of natural sand-dunes. The centre of the town is also within a short distance, approximately 10 minutes from the hotel; here guests will be able to find a series of shops, restaurants and bars. Fuerteventura Airport is 35 km away.
All  Atlantic Garden apartments have been  renovated  and include  a  bedroom  with two single beds and a bathroom with shower. Modernity and simplicity are highlighted in the decorative style which features a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster and kettle. The comfortable living room includes a sofa bed and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.
