Great week spent at Vistaflor. Food was excellent for a 3 star. Pool was good with plenty space for all the kids inflatables. Rooms were decent size and clean. Nice glass of beer from the bar...
But the absolute best thing was the staff. They were all really friendly, always smiling and happy to help. Alberto and Nourdine in particular were brilliant guys and were great with the kids. Alberto even gave my son an old toy car which made his day!

4 star holiday for 3 star price

We are just back from travelling to this hotel as a couple using a room for two, All Inclusive in April 2025. 

The location is great. It’s right next to the small Botanic Gardens which is great for birding and free of charge: Atlantic Canaries, Sardinian Warblers and Waxbills could be seen. The gardens aren’t really maintained anymore but that is part of their charm. Lots of Monarch Butterflies to be seen too.

From an accessibility point of view, the hotel does have stairs. There were about 14 stairs in the bungalow taking you up to the first floor, but this was in the advertisement so we were forewarned. You also need to be able to manage about 20 stairs to get to the buffet restaurant. There isn’t much room either side of the bed upstairs either, you need to be nimble!

The buffet-style food was fine with lots of healthy options. We enjoyed the local food. The Restaurant and staff looked impeccably clean. We’d have liked a little more variety on the lunch menu, but there was plenty of food available for the price we paid.

There is a small supermarket near Reception with plenty of choice. Very friendly lady in the shop. There is a larger supermarket an 8 minute walk away but you need to be able to manage lots of stairs to get down to it. (Go up the slope to the top of the main road and turn left. The supermarket is on the left.

The free WiFi was perfectly adequate for us and it worked on all our devices. I don’t know how fast it would be for gaming but it was very fast for uploading photos to social media. The best we’ve ever had on the island.

You are asked not to reserve sunbeds at the pool, a few people did, but we were always able to get a sunbed. It wasn’t a problem. The pool area is fabulous and the entertainment team worked hard to entertain the families. We really enjoyed our time at the pool.

The modern air conditioning is free and kept the room cool. It is only available in the bedroom, as advertised.

The cleaning staff did a great job and were trustworthy. 

There was an €18 charge for a safe, which is in a room next to Reception, as advertised. The safes were quite small, however. You would struggle to get a big laptop in them, I think.

We also paid an extra €40 to stay later in our room on check-out day and to extend our food beyond the 12pm check-out time. 

The fridge worked very well but the ice box was almost completely frosted up on arrival. We found that if you put more than one cup full of water in the kettle it will spit water out the spout when it boils, but we got used to this. Pleased to see a clean washing up sponge, a tea towel and some washing up liquid in the kitchen area. There was a metal clothes drying rack on the Balcony. 

Plenty of hot water in the shower. The shower could do with a new shower head, however.

The Bar and Reception staff were friendly and helpful and great conversationalists. We enjoyed all our drinks.

Our holiday company’s coach was only able to drop off and pick up at the top of the slope two minutes away owing to lack of space for parking on the hotel’s access road. The exercise did us good! A free air-conditioned bus was available to go to and from Playa de Maspalomas beach/shops/restaurants twice a day and we were grateful for this. The free bus stops at other hotels before going to the beach, taking about 20 mins.

The single taxi fare from Playa de Maspalomas beach/shops/restaurants is about €6.75 for two people. The taxi was able to make it down the access road to the Reception door.

Overall a LOVELY holiday for the price we paid. We are very tolerant people who always make the best of what we get but this will probably only be our only stay at this hotel. The rooms do need refurbishing and on two evenings our neighbours were still lively at gone 11pm, they were just having a good time, but we prefer peace and quiet. 

This hotel is a good find for travellers on a budget and for people not interested in fancy interiors. Great for people who love a swimming pool and a sunbathe.

Family place, with an fantastic staff that makes you feel like family, and at home.

Stayed for 3 weeks, and is second time here, for sure not the last.

There is a lot of locals staying at the hotel - gives a nice genuine touch of the true Canarian Islands.

Fabulous 10 day holiday in family friendly Vista Flor in Maspalomas. Location is perfect for beaches and mountains. The apartments were a little dated but spotlessly clean as was the pool area.Food was excellent with plenty of choice. All of the staff were exceptional and so friendly and welcoming.

Super friendly

Stayed here for a week 3 of us had 2 bungalows. Clean and everything you would need. I would say 2 maximum to a villa or it would be too crowded. Perfect for couples or 2 friends. Pool area really good and spaces and relaxing. 

We were getting taxis most nights to the yumbo and it was only 4 euros and around 6 to the Irish centre. You can walk to the yumbo centre in around 15 mins or less. 

Mini market on site seemed to open at random times each day that would be my only negative. 

We went for the bed and breakfast package only went twice but it wasn’t bad especially for what we paid for the week. 

WiFi decent even with our bungalow being away from the reception/bar area. 

I would stay here again. Really relaxing no loud hotels close.

This great bungalow complex is beautifully located in Maspalomas resort, at approximately 2.7 km from the nearest beach. Guests will be able to find a number of shopping and entertainment sites within walking distance as well as the nearest public transport links. The airport is just about 20-minute drive away. The property offers a wonderful and colourful outdoor pool area where guests will love to spend a sunny and warm day sunbathing or having a refreshing swim. They can also enjoy a delicious dinner in the onsite restaurant. The rooms are nicely decorated and are equipped with all the essentials to have a pleasant and memorable stay.
