This hotel complex is huge with a myriad of facilities - including the Royal Level Adults Only segregated area. We opted for a deluxe swim up room with semi private balcony.  We wanted a relaxing , quiet’ish holiday with plenty of sun and good food.

GOOD

Room is extensive with great facilities.

Food - sometimes.

Sunbathing area and AO pool

NOT SO GOOD

Our balcony, on the western side, is only fully in the sun for last 2hrs of the day. Waste of money!

Food - sometimes. Even if ordered from the 5 daily choices, arrived cold or overcooked.

Noise! Daily aquarobics in the main, central, pool blasts out an hour of boom, boom bass. Even intrudes into our room!

Noise! For some reason the hotel seems to think that we need to be entertained! We had to abandon the sunbathing terrace because of loud, live, music being played. Came here for a holiday - not a rock concert!

Good and Not so Good

An absolutely top class hotel in a fantastic location on the beach. 
 We were a bit wary of the reviews from last year but  hoped it was just because it had recently opened.  We'd previously stayed at the Yaiza which was fantastic but expensive.  The Barcelo Royal Level was a little cheaper but was half-board rather than just B&B so overall quite a considerable saving.
The hotel totally outperformed all of our expectations and we really couldn't recommend it highly enough.  The staff were very friendly and helpful and always happy to help.
The room was great - one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! The room had a spacious balcony with a fantastic view towards the sea and over the gardens.  The shower set up was a bit odd as previously mentioned, but it was okay if you were with a partner. If you were with your mum you might have to arrange to have a shower whilst the other person was out of the room as you did step out of it pretty much into the middle of the room!  Thankfully the toilet was in a completely separate room which I wasn't sure about  until we arrived.
The fridge was really useful - it was stocked with soft and alcoholic drinks when we arrived which were included in the price, and could be refilled at a cost.  We used it for milk and a few bits and pieces which we had for lunch each day to keep the food bills down.
The Royal Level pool was beautiful - a long infinity pool that always had loads of room and was a lovely warm temperature.  There was plenty of loungers around the pool as well as on two other lower levels so you could have peace and quiet if you wanted it.
The restaurant was excellent - a well stocked breakfast and dinner buffet that changed regularly, as well as a la carte options at both sessions.  The food was beautifully presented and delicious and with a choice of 5 different a la carte options each night for dinner  (2 x meat, 2 x fish plus 1 x vegetarian/vegan) it was never repetitive.  There were also Gluten Free options at breakfast and dinner. There was live music in the restaurant from about 8pm which was nice - nothing too loud, just pleasant background music from one person.

An amazing hotel with fabulous facilities

Amazing views, super comfy beds! Great food. We will absolutely be back to stay here. It’s well worth a visit. 

Amazing Location!

We had an excellent stay at this hotel! The service was truly outstanding — from the experience managers Alessandra and Gina , to the reception team, especially the restaurant's staff, Magical. This exceptional hospitality is the reason we’ve become repeat guests. We have visited this hotel 3 times already and have reservations again for April. We cannot fault anything about the hotel. A big compliment to the management for maintaining such high standards. We look forward to our next visit!

Magical hotel with excellent service

Just spent 6 days at Barcelo Royal level in a suite. Our third visit to the hotel. Weather not great but we still enjoyed our holiday. Enjoyed swimming, the restaurant and walks.
