Not the cleanest and reception wasn’t helpful at all.
I rang as soon as we checked in (4pm) as it looked like poo on the bathroom floor. We was told this would be cleaned, we went out for a meal and got back at 11pm and the item was still on the floor. My husband used a towel the next morning and there appeared to be poo on this! 
I went and told reception immediately and they didn’t even apologise they just said they would get it changed.

Good location however requires improvement, we went away for our wedding anniversary and we was disappointed

Perfect location, lovely service-minded staff. The peace and quiet in the pool area with no loud music was heaven. Also the gym was clean and modern. The rooms facing the pool were small and with paper thin walls. The balconies were barely separated with small, transparent glass. The rooms facing the marina were more spacious and much better isolated, also between the balconies. We’d stay there again if we could book the marina facing rooms.

Hotel itself was great . But food and restaurant not so great . Breakfast was OK.  But evening meal was always cold . We ate out almost every night as when we tried food in hotel at opening time of restaurant food was always cold.  Spent a lot of money eating out .which we hadn't accounted for .

Let's start with the positives - the hotel is located in Cala Bona next to the marina and an array of lovely restaurants and shops so lots of choice for where to eat and spend an evening.  There's a good-sized pool with sun loungers, umbrellas and seating.  The reception staff were efficient and mostly courteous and the chefs / waiting staff were helpful and attentive.

Now to the real stuff - The hotel is facing the marina so should have impressive sea views but alas some huge, very overgrown trees block most of the view for many rooms on the first and second floors. We understand that the trees have nothing to do with the hotel, but don't sell a room as a sea view on the lower floors when you know these trees block it.   We paid extra (quite a bit extra) for a 'superior' room with a sea view and found ourselves on the first floor.  While the room was bigger, the balcony was not and was the size of a small-ish elevator so it needed careful planning to manoeuvre and accommodate two adults on it at the same time.  Also, there was no privacy screen or such from the similar room to our left, so it got VERY awkward when both rooms were using our cramped balconies.  

The extra we paid got us a slightly bigger room with a large rattan/wicker sofa, similar to those in conservatories 20-odd years ago.  Unfortunately, we think that was the last time it had been deep cleaned as the grimy dust lay thick between the wicker.  My husband uses a CPAP machine and the beside table was right beside the arm of the sofa, so the CPAP was drawing in this filthy, greasy dust.  A quick visit to reception to point out our disappointment in the room / balcony and the cleanliness of the sofa was met with 'the picture is clear in the brochure' so nothing they could do, but they would send a cleaner up to clean the sofa.  The cleaner apparently came and gave the sofa a wipe down but there was little to no improvement so we pushed the sofa as far away from the bed as we could and covered the wicker arm with a towel.  We followed up with our holiday rep who told us that he had already been advised by the reception team that we would probably complain but there was nothing they could do as 'that's what we'd paid for'.  Yeh, very 'superior'!  

A few TripAdvisor reviews mention the cats around the hotel but let me elaborate, there are cats EVERYWHERE, lots and LOTS of cats, especially in the pool area.  You understand why, when you pass the management office heading to the pool where there are numerous food bowls out for them.  On arrival at the pool, cats were lying under, on and around the sun loungers and many of the loungers had cat poo on them.  The lifeguard made no attempt to move the cats from the loungers or clean up the mess they left behind.  When my husband pointed out the mess on some of the 'prime spot' loungers, he took an age to get them cleaned.  When we picked and sat on the loungers cats were at our feet, under our loungers and even tried to get on top of our towel.  We didn't stay for long and never used the pool area again ... it was awful! 

We had breakfast most days at the hotel and it offered the usual selection of breakfast foods but none of the cooked food was very warm, but it was ok.  Dinner was totally different though - the buffet style restaurant offered cool/cold, beige, deep-fried lumps of fish, pork or whatever, with no apparent thought into what the accompaniments for each main course were. Salads were limp and plates of tuna etc with mayonnaise or other dressings were congealed on top, as were the deserts.  It was utterly woeful!  We ate out every night, including that first night.  

We honestly can't understand how this hotel gets a 4-rating on trip advisor. It's one of the worst hotels we've stayed at and how poor it is seems to be well-known in and around the local area.

Avoid this hotel if you have any sense at all.

Absolutely Awful

This pleasant hotel lies directly in Cala Bona Marina just 100 m from the nearest beautiful sandy beach. Cala Millor with its many shopping and entertainment venues is just 1 km away whilst the nearest links to the public transport network are about 250 m from the hotel. The island's capital town of Palma and the international airport is about 70 km away. The elegant, fully air-conditioned hotel offers 4 floors with a total of 189 rooms. Each of the tastefully decorated apartments comes with a bathroom, a telephone, air conditioning, central heating, a hire safe and a balcony. Guests have access to a fabulous pool and garden complex and facilities include a cosy bar and a restaurant. There is a swimming pool as well as a furnished sun terrace for guests to take advantage of.
