Pool

Visited beginning of April the day after the hotel opened for the season. It was fully booked according to the reception staff. Rooms were ok, could have been a little cleaner as they seemed a little dusty in places from where they had touched up the grout, but it wasn’t an issue. Beds were best beds I have slept in when in Spain. One bed apartment had plenty of space and good size balconies. There was a lot of noise throughout the day from people shouting and playing loud music, but it was usually quiet on an evening, so that didn’t bother us. No entertainment and the atmosphere in the bar area wasn’t very good, all extra activities such as golf, table tennis, football area cost extra. So I took my son to the play ground & outdoor gym next to the hotel, which was a great space if you have kids. Good location close to all shops and bars, short walk to Katmandu and the pirate show. Food was great for breakfast but the evening meal wasn’t good, some food was only just warm. We found something to eat but didn’t necessarily enjoy it. There are so many places outside the hotel I would recommend going bed and breakfast only, especially as you can take food and drinks back to the hotel, it’s not necessarily a family hotel as there is a few stag/hen groups that made my child feel a little uncomfortable at times as he’s not used to being around drunk groups of people. Overall the hotel was nice, lacked entertainment and atmosphere, rooms were good.

April stay

Centrally located approx 10 min walk to the strip, selection of bars nearby. Rooms good size there is a fridge and two ring hob in the room no kettle but we were given one when we asked at reception free of charge. Hairdryer in bathroom perfectly fine, the water was always piping hot and shower was fabulous. Balcony is big with patio doors leading from both lounge area and the bedroom . Pool area there are two main pools  this is where we had a few issues now we booked self catering holiday we were confronted on our first day by one of the hotel workers to say girl behind bar had complained that we had brought our own drinks and crisps to the poolside which were purchased from the hotel shop but this isn’t allowed and we had to purchase drinks from behind bar the girl stared at our group for the duration of the day and had we not been such a large group could have intimidated some , Howe er she didn’t approach us directly she ran to another staff member on the three occasions she had an issue .Nxt we were told our music wasn’t allowed despite all surrounding people enjoying it , music was played through a 4 w speaker so not loud at all , the next day we went to the larger pool where we had no problem with our mini speaker and also enjoyed our own drinks  we opted to upgrade to all inclusive for one day at a cost of 50 euro the food is varied and plentiful however is served lukewarm no food is hot which is a shame there is no cider option so bear that in mind if you are a cider drinker. Reception staff are helpful and pleasant maids came every day with clean towels and emptied bins . Beds are extremely firm but good size. So to sum up our stay I’d say hotel advertises self catering option yet doesn’t allow your own food and drink by pools so why sell the option? All inclusive food ok but never hot enough, rooms great , cleanliness superb , location great check in was long winded and tourist tax is payable at approx 4 euro per person

Went with family, 2 young adult kids. Kids loved it as it's great for partying youngsters. I found the rooms clean, the staff extremely professional and friendly and pretty decent offerings on the all inclusive. Sadly I am not sure I would go back just for the noise problems.  We were kept awake by loud music party guests, the last night was exceptionally bad with one group football chanting over their loud music underneath us. When they stopped in the small hours, at 7am a different group shouting to each other over the balconies. I was a bit annoyed that neither group were spoken to as it was excessive  yet I was pulled on a trivial matter - not to wear slipper socks! I had to sleep with the balcony door open due to the heat with the air con only being seasonal,  the engineer wouldn't  change the setting to cool, this exacerbated the noise of course and made for  uncomfortable nights. The room doors loud slam shut aswell with the neighbour door made our wall shake?! It's great for party vibes with a clean and functional room, great staff but if you want to relax I would not recommend.

We arrived at lunchtime had to wait an hour to check in as a big group of think athletes checking in. 3 staff on. So not a great start, luckily room was ready. We were self catering as like eating out and not tied to times. The apartment was lovely and big also clean massive balcony over looking the pool. The kitchen is not really suitable for self catering, no toaster or kettle in the room which would of thought would be standard for self catering. It was alot busier this April than previous ones so did have some noise but slept fine. One security guy was friendly when we came back early hrs. But could do with checking the noise levels on balconies in early hrs, I know people on holiday but families where in the hotel aswell and music at 4am on balcony loud not great. Luckily wasn't our floor. We like this hotel. Also safe was expensive especially for a digital one which are normally free and no deposit.

Not suitable for self catering

On arrival we were checked into a ground floor room (around 9pm) very close to the main entrance. The room had a terrace with a restricted view of the pool (by hedges all around) so your only real view was the opposite building or the sky. Not a huge issue but we were very aware of the noise from the main entrance, people coming and going.
We mentioned to Luis on reception about moving rooms and he said he would try and to speak to him in the morning. A very sleepless night later (due to the noise which seemed to amplify through the corridor to our room) and we spoke to Luis again in the morning who managed to move us to the 6th floor with a great balcony with view over the pools. 
More importantly, it was away from the noise, however you can't avoid people shouting, arguing and playing loud music at times. 
All inclusive option was great. Food was decent but not amazing, again which was fine for us as we mainly used the hotel as a base to explore the island. 
Hired bikes and cycled to Portals Vells which has an amazing beach, lovely outdoor cafe and beautiful scenery. 
Arranged car hire through the hotel which was very straightforward - drove up to Alcudia, explored Roman ruins, the old town, the beach then drove back through all the mountains which made me feel like I was in a Bond movie!
There is no entertainment which would have been good in the evening (guy with a guitar etc). We walked to Palmanova a few times and avoided the mental hill with all the bars and clubs designed for the young crew by walking along the beach pathway then up the stairs at the end. 
The rooms were always clean and tidy and the staff were absolutely amazing. Massive shout out to Luis for the change of rooms and how professional they were at all times.
