Just returned from another stay here. The staff are as great as usual, nothing is too much trouble for them.

The rooms are a bit dated and could probably do with a makeover but as you dont spend too much time in them anyway this is no problem. They are cleaned 5 times a week. Only thing I would say is that there are fans supplied but as there was only 1 plug socket in our bedroom over in the corner by the bed not sure how you are supposed to  use it at night with it being a foot away from your head.

First time we were away from Xmas day so not sure what to expect but the dinner the hotel laid on was very nice. Plenty of choice especially if you like seafood (Lobster. crab etc) Turkey and Pork with stuffing but no potatoes.

We had a problem with our table on Xmas night. You prebook on Xmas eve chosing between 2 sittings(19.00-20.30 & 20.30-22.00), we chose the earlier one. They then give you a ticket with your chosen time on it. On entry it is upto you to find a suitable table based upon your party size, we eventually found one over in the corner. Drinks are served (Wine etc).We had some of ours and then went to see what food was available. On returning someone had not only sat at out table but were drinking our drinks! When we tried to explain they did not ignored us. The manager came over and spoke to them as well but they started to argue and refused to move. Eventually a couple who were had gotten friendly with kindly offered to share their table with us.

Despite this we had a another great stay and are already looking to book for next year.

Easter 2025

The rooms are lovely and clean and beds changed 5 times a week. Claire the entertainer is fab. What lets this hotel down is the food. It is diabolical. All stew like hot meals. Not a cooked veg or boiled potato in sight. I have noticed leftover lunch is brought out again in the evening. While here both myself and my 2 daughters were ill. Not sure why. Oh and we were above the main street which had music on until 1am. Those rooms need double glazing

Santa Maria

Visited Costa Adeji for the first time and chose the Santa Maria on recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. Magnificent hotel this 
Probably next time I’ll choose high up sea view room but no complaints about our room . Cleaned regularly, comfy beds nice bathroom and balcony . 
We was half board basis , breakfast was plentiful and lots of choices the porridge was delicious. Equally the evening meal was very good every need catered for . On a couple of occasions our party were eating out in the evening and the staff let us change to lunch instead . All in all a great stay at the Santa Maria , well recommended.

60th birthday

When we arrived the receptionist bent over backwards my wife is blind they upgraded us to a massive apparment the couple we were with was also upgraded 

There was enough room for my wife to adjust herself she felt great 

The staff in the restaurant was great and extremely helpful 

The food was plenty variety was plenty

The cleaners was respectful of our needs 

Overall experience  was excellent that's why 5 stars

Just got back from a week at the Santa Maria. It was our first visit to the area and we loved it! The hotel ticked all our boxes. Location was fab as was the service from all staff. We had a large 2 bedroom suite for just the two of us. My hubby celebrated his birthday while there and the waiters brought him a candle topped cake to the breakfast table and a bottle of fizz was also left in the room on the day. What a lovely touch. Evening meal had quite a few hot meal choices as well as lots of salad items and gorgeous desserts. No mad dash for sunbeds in the morning but the pool could have been heated in March. Not many were using it as it was a bit too cold. All in all we were very pleased with what we got for the jet2 price we paid. We may very well be back.
