A great hotel, with plenty of character. This is the second time we have stayed here during a February half-term. Although a relatively steep 10 minute walk from the centre of Costa  Adeje, this is part of the charm of this hotel which is relaxed and very pleasant.

A second fantastic stay!

Lovely base, friendly, basic but clean, our room and kitchen area was a good size. 
As others have mentioned, it is up a hill we are good walkers but you could really feel it  when you got the the hotel! Taxis are cheap enough but there no where near as many available during the day as there are at night. There are scooters you can pay to use, which if you were happy to have a go on would help with the hill! 
The hotel itself is on a few levels, so their are a lot of stairs to go up or down with your luggage! Some people may struggle with that. 
The staff were friendly and happy to help. The pool was a a nice temperature and the bar staff were super friendly.  We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on that. The bakery & shop on site is handy.. bear in mind though, there is a supermarket just down the road (at the first roundabout) which is a lot cheaper for most things, especially the bakery. Just depends what you want to carry back up the hill! Great restaurant nearby, 5mins walk, you wouldn't know it was there but was recommended by a Taxi driver to us. Its called 360, basic surroundings but excellent well priced food & drinks. Costa Adeje is a lovely place, would definitely come back.

Basic, clean & friendly.

I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience at this hotel. My friends and I were excited for our stay, but from the moment we arrived, it quickly became clear that this hotel was far from what was promised.

Upon check-in, we were immediately shocked by the stark difference between the photos of the hotel online and the actual property. The reception area was outdated and had a 1960s vibe, while the check-in process was disorganized and unnecessarily long. Once we finally got to our rooms, things didn’t improve. Our room was poorly maintained, with a spongy, unsafe shower floor, limescale-covered taps, and a worn-out toilet seat. The bed was not what we expected either—it was more of a flimsy camp bed attached to a sofa. There was minimal storage, and we ended up living out of our suitcases the entire stay. We barely slept due to the uncomfortable conditions.

Our friends had their own issues as well, including being forced out of their room by the cleaner because it wasn’t ready when they arrived. They were only allowed back in over an hour later, which was completely unacceptable.

The situation worsened on our last day when we decided to relax by the pool, only to be interrupted by horrendous drilling noises. We moved to reception to escape the noise, and that's when we witnessed an older gentleman with one leg come in to complain. The receptionist told him to move, and when I tried to explain that we had moved for the same reason, she rudely told us that, since it was our last day, we "had no right" to be by the pool. This was beyond unacceptable and left us feeling completely disrespected.

Additionally, the hotel had no working Wi-Fi, which was a huge inconvenience, especially since we needed to contact family and attend an important work meeting. We had to pay for mobile phone roaming, adding £28 per couple to our costs. The hotel is also in a location that is far from anything else, so we were stuck with the on-site entertainment, which was dismal. The parrot show was so disappointing that people started leaving halfway through, and the bingo and quiz nights were equally underwhelming.

There was also no air conditioning, and the ceiling fans only worked when the lights were on, making the rooms unbearably hot at night. This made it nearly impossible to get any rest.

To add to the frustration, the rooms were only cleaned once during our entire stay, and the towels were replaced just once as well. The bedding wasn’t changed, and I ended up having to deal with a small speck of blood from a cut that remained on the sheets throughout our stay.

For £1,100 per couple, this was far from the relaxing and enjoyable experience we were hoping for. It was the worst holiday I’ve ever had, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I’ll certainly be seeking compensation for the poor experience, and I strongly urge others to look elsewhere for a holiday

Disappointing Stay at an Unacceptable Hotel

-first night after travelling we head to the bar and ask to eat some food (half an hour later we still hadn’t had our order taken and were sat there without menus for a good 15 mins) 
We left and went somewhere we found on google maps round the corner. 

- the gym facilities - honestly don’t even bother. There must have been a myriad of germs the floor was covered in hair and dirt, the equipment was sticky (in a nutshell the gym is not cleaned regularly at all). The equipment was outdated, worn or broken. Major update needed with holes in the ceiling. 

-the spa - sauna out of use. £10 for an hour but again it was not worth it as not everything was in use. We made the mistake of stumbling in one someone else’s spa session by accident and they were the ones to inform us that we need to book at reception which we did. 

-the jacuzzi was cloudy and while we were staying they actually shut this down with tape and made it out of use. 

-we booked a luxury boat trip and paid a cash deposit. It was cancelled. We waited outside and we had to go in to enquire only to be informed that it was cancelled and they had ‘tried’ to contact us. No emails, no missed calls, no text. 

-the entertainment was understandably dire, not many people stayed at the hotel in the evening. 

-our sheets were made and changed once (we stayed 8 nights) 
The housekeepers only make your bed once a week. 

-ceiling fans, no aircon* 
We were boiling. 

-nice garden. 
-fairly decent location (a 15 min walk from coast) 
-you can actually self cater as the apartments have a good induction hob and microwave. 

Other than that I would totally be staying somewhere else next time.

We won’t stay again

A welcomed arrival. Quickly checked in and room was available. Room was basic but had everything that we needed for a self catering holiday. Was very lucky to get a room that took us straight onto the pool. Had a large terrace. Enjoyed some lovely dinners poolside on our terrace. Rooms were fairly clean. A bit dated. Didn’t eat anything from the hotel so can not comment. Drinks were expensive for a self catering hotel. So only bought drinks twice. Location is on a hill. A steep hill. Great to walk down but advise taxis back up. Only 5 euros. We did walk for the first few days. Burger King, McDonald’s and mercadona near by. Which suited us. Kids were happy with that. 15 minute walk down to the beach. Where there is plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Had great weather so nothing to moan about 

Perfect base

The spa includes a sauna and massage services, available for an extra cost. A fitness centre, bar and games room can also be found at the property. Free WiFi is available in public areas.

Siam Park Waterpark is 3 km from Regency Torviscas Apartments and Suites and Las Americas Golf Course is 4 km away. Tenerife South Airport is 18 km from the property.
