Just had a 10 day stay at the Ramada Resort in Lara Beach. Although we had a wonderful holiday and are sad to leave, this was mainly due to totally lucking out with the weather and the quality family time we spent together. 

The food was ok. Very repetitive lunches and evening meals, with a lot of what appeared to be leftovers re-hashed. The Italian a la carte was really disappointing but we did enjoy the Asian a la carte meal.  The food at the pool bar was good, plenty of fresh salads and breads and we liked the Kentucky and doner chicken. Deserts were mostly inedible, the only decent thing was the baclava. We ate out twice just to mix things up. 

Room was a bit disappointing, with a camp bed set up for my second child shoe-horned in front of the patio doors. At a 5 star i would have expected it to have two doubles or a double and two singles. Towel rail in the bathroom was broken and it wasn’t particularly clean. The beds were made up daily but only changed once during our 10 day stay. There was no air con (we were told this was due to it still being winter season) despite it being nearly 30 degrees. Our room was noisy on the main front road so we didn’t have the option of leaving the patio doors open which resulted in a few restless nights. Mini fridge was sometimes fully re-stocked sometimes just re-stocked with water and there were no beers as stated on their website. The mini fridge was also old and poor quality which was pumping out heat making the room even warmer. There also is not shampoo and conditioner as indicated. 

Gym equipment was really tired and there was also no air con. The gym was an internal room so no fresh air and the air con also wasn’t on in there making it unbearable during work outs. 

Staff weren’t particularly friendly (in the bars and restaurants) and sometimes I felt awkward or uncomfortable as they were ignoring guests and chatting amongst themselves - not sure any of them knew the concept of service with a smile. As mentioned by some other reviews, cocktails were really hit and miss and sometimes un-drinkable. We never had any sort of table service, weren’t offered it and didn’t really see much of it around us. The maids we met in the hallway were always cheery enough and said hello.  The communal areas were kept really clean with tables wiped down and floors swept. 

Pools were lovely and clean and my children loved the waterslides so they were definitely a big hit. We managed to get sun beds every day whether we were by the pools or down at the beach but there was a lot of ‘towel reservations’ happening early in the morning. We loved the beach area it was kept pretty clean although there were quite a lot of cigarette butts in the sand. 

If this had been sold as a 4 star holiday that would have been accurate, but certainly didn’t quite hit the mark for 5 star which was a bit disappointing

My third visit to ramada and so pleased again, lovely 2 weeks holiday, we enjoyed it and happy with it. Thanks to all staff from management team to all staff, specially bars and entertainment staff so special and friendly, don't want mention names because all so good and polite and hard worker .need longer entertainment during night time.

Immaculately clean, hotel rooms comfortable and had safe,iron and ironing board. Mini bar stocked daily - complimentary. 
Hotel staff friendly and attentive. 
Food available 24/7 
Breakfast and lunch lovely - evening meal was a little disappointing for us but the on site Italian restaurant was lovely. We always found something to eat but we’re a little underwhelmed at the evening selection. 
Nice hotel good location - would definitely return.

A nice week away!

The hotel was really good, the food was really nice lots of variety, lots of variety of ice creams and desserts so it caters for everyone. We only went to one a la carte restaurant Verona and that was really nice. The staff are really friendly there, I've been to 5* hotels in different parts of the world and the service was up there. For kids there was a kids club doing a variety of activities for example today my kids did pizza making. The evening entertainment is great too but sometimes it starts a bit late. The beach is a 5 minute shuttle ride from the hotel but you can walk. The beach is nice not pebbly. There's lots of excursions to do I would highly recommend Land of Legends. There was one issue with the air conditioning in our room, but we spoke to reception and they moved us to a new room straight away. We loved it, the kids loved it. Turkish people are nice and hospitable I've been places like Dubai, Dominican Republic, and USA and this is not out of place with these amazing places. Location, price, service great. Only slight negative gym could do with updating. I would definitely come back again.

Great Family Experience

Just returned from a 10 day stay at this hotel. Cannot fault it one bit! All staff so friendly! Nice ! And hardworking. You can practically get food 24 hours! If you can’t find anything to eat here then you must be extremely fussy! We ate like kings! I recommend you book your a-la-carte restaurants with guests relations as soon as you get there. We were entitled to x2 so we had Italian and Mexican. Both were absolutely gorgeous! The beach area was amazing with another pool and kids area pool/table tennis. Food also really nice down there too. We didn’t take the shuttle bus once as it was a nice 5 minute walk. The room was really spacious two bedrooms and massive lounge we were on the top floor and was lucky enough to get a sea view! We were well and truly looked after all of our holiday .at night if we didn’t fancy the entertainment we sat in lobby area and played cards and just loved people watching. We did 3 trips the jeep safari which we throughly enjoyed! And the Antalya sightseeing tour the old town was gorgeous! The 3rd was land of legends night show which was ok we booked with a lovely guy on way to beach just before you get to the sports bar he was really helpful as one day we couldn’t go as my daughter was ill so he simply changed the day for us . WeWould definitely recommend this hotel. Had a fantastic time!

Amazing hotel

Stay at Ramada Resort Lara hotel located within driving distance of Antalya Airport. Amenities include gym, spa and sauna, tennis courts, onsite restaurant, bar, pool and beachfront area.
