I expected better from this hotel, really just average hotel. Poor entertainment at night I ended up going to bars in town and paid all inclusive I was not impressed
Food not to bad and nice view from room otherwise would not go back
I had to go out night time only to be harassed by Turkish men on the hussell
Ii witnessed alot of desperate women
Anyway tge sun still shines..

Average hotel in marmaris

Just got back from Golden Rock Beach Hotel and once again it didn't disappoint. This is my 3rd visit. The hotel is a really lovely place to visit always clean, the rooms are cleaned every day and the towels are changed every day. The staff are all very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. There is a good choice of food, the desserts are to die for. There is also a snack bar serving pizza, chips, chicken nuggets and also other dishes. We went later than normal this year so on the second week it was really quiet, (no having to go to the pool area at 07.00 to put your towel out. The entertainment team are brilliant and they work their arses off to entertain everyone. The rooms are lovely especially if you get a room with a sea view. My only criticism would be the spa that is in the hotel, its quite expensive to have treatments done. We did a jeep safari and I would recommend this for a day out we had a brilliant day. I would definitely go back and Im already looking to book again for next October.

Turkey 2024

I've just finished my vacation with Golden Rock Beach Hotel, as i do not like saying negatives i emailed the below points direct to the hotel and received a very condescending email back disagreeing with all the points i have made, i will definitely not be going back to this hotel.
My review
Just returned from a week's trip in golden rock hotel in Marmaris, looks wise not as big as the normal resorts I've been to but reading the reviews took a punt on this hotel,
I will break down the different categories as it's not fair to label everything as a whole
Room
The room was really nice and big, with an amazing view, the cleaner was very nice and did an amazing job, and the water was always replenished.
Pool
Small with the same issue with getting a sun bed, the hotel allegedly has strict rules that you're not allowed to put towels down until 6am, no one listens but 3-4am the good places are gone. I walked a couple of doors down to Prime hotel and was envious of their organisation, plus in the whole one week, I did not hear one Turkish song, it's turkey for God sake not England, let's hear some Turkish music.
Animation team
Totally unprofessional, spending the evenings vaping, dressed in going out clothes, attaching themselves with a couple of teens and forgetting the rest, the day activities was very poorly organised, same as kids disco, there was no effort made to bring the shy kids, if none of the kids got up or was shy it was cancelled.
Food
My partner is a vegetarian, Hardly any of the food was marked what it was, I spoke to the chefs which spent a good 5 minutes scratching his head if a borek had cheeses inside so I decided to speak to the manager in the food hall and i suggested a simple V could help people who are vegetarian, his replay was we hardly have anyone that's vegetarian, also we have chips they have choices, considering this place advertises themselves as a 5 star very disappointing and not how a 5 star hotel should be run.
Bars
I'm not a picky drinker but their drinks are awful, cheap imitation brands and when you ask for something they add flavourings to make it, I stuck with red wine in the evenings as that was the only drink that was tolerable.
Location
The location was nice, they had a beach which was good and clean.
I won't be attending back here again, not because of the hotel but due to the unprofessional behaviour of their staff and how the management operate.

Give this one a miss

When me and my granddaughter arived we had to strugle with our cases to find no food they must of known they had people coming on a late one this was a 5 star right  we gave up and went to bed next day 
The food was ok but the  same everyday we decided to try room service it never came even after ringing down 3 times so we gave up and went out for food
We could never get a sunbed as we didn't get up at 5am so never stayed at the pool we did go to the tiny rocky beach where we soon left as was full of men making us feel uncomfortable so would I go back to turkey yes just not this hotel also if you want to keep your room on its 45 pound for 4hrs Turkish bath is 120 for 2 of you and a hair wash is 30 pounds  each I think that's very expensive even the taxi use to be 5 pound anywhere now it's 10 to the bazar if you want to go shopping and that's not the same  the one good thing about this hotel was the vew as long as your not across for a few strange men that follow you all over make you feel uncomfortable then you just leave your curtains closed

Honest review

Impressive lobby upon arrival, easy check in + porter service. Room was a corner room so very spacious, above the main road so had constant road noise. Maid service was great, Sunay always said hello or good morning. Great towel art daily. 
Hotel was very quiet as the season is ending but still had to get up early to get a sunny all day, lounger but plenty of other beds if you only wanted to stay a while or were happy to move about. Pool was freezing! Animation team tried hard but I think couldn’t really be bothered as it was the end of the season. Constant mithering by them to join in games or go to the hair salon or spa was annoying. 
Bars were good, limited all inc drinks. Big fridges full of help yourself,  bottled water. Ice cream available daily, though they had run out of flavours, again due to the season ending. Waffles were good but queue was long as they could only cook a few at a time.
Restaurant buffet was usual all inclusive food, catering for different nationalities so could always find something to eat but could be labelled better + was often cold. Desserts were the same everyday + repetitive. Breakfast omelette
station was good but again slow as only made 2 at a time. 
Had to go to the self service machines or bar to get drinks as the waiters only served water. 
Overall a good holiday in an average hotel but definitely not 5*.

Good but not 5 star

This fantastic beach hotel is located frontline to the sea, where the Aegean and the Mediterranean unite their crystal-clear waters. Set between the popular holiday resorts Marmaris and Icmeler, at 3 and 5 km respectively, the hotel has 3 bars including a lobby bar and sights of both are easily reachable by Dolmus. Dalaman Aiport is 90 km away. The hotel has 225 rooms, 24-hours reception, free WIFI in the lobby, meeting rooms, 2 restaurants, 2 bars,the hotel has 2 outdoor pools and one indoor pool , children's pool, mini-club, spa and wellness, fitness centre, sports facilities.
