The level of customer service really set this place apart from other high end hotels... from the reception upon arrival, to the interaction with staff in restaurants and facilities, and including the checkout - the level of attention to flexibility and to specific needs makes this a true 5 star hotel.

True 5 star hotel

We wanted a few days away where we could just chill, and do nothing if the fancy took us. This hotel was perfect for that.

You can get full information on the facilities from the hotel’s website, but what you can’t get from that is the totally relaxed vibe and the attentions of friendly and helpful staff for whom nothing is too much trouble.

There are two restaurants really, although you can order food on the beach and by the pool each having a different short form menu. The main restaurants however have extensive menus, with Vinesse combining Arabic, Indian, and European dishes to give an impressive choice. Aquario has a different menu, and more choices in fish and seafood. We were on half board, and didn’t need to bother with lunch.

Relaxing by the pool felt like the best of indulgences, and after a few days we had settled into it. We never went near the gym or the spa, didn’t need to to get what we wanted from the time here.

The hotel is a little out of the way, and  a lot of development is passed along the way here. Al Zorah City will be a vast development when complete, but I wonder if that matters as this hotel is its own enclave.

Great place just to chill

We stayed here from 31st January for 7 nights and had a fantastic break. From the moment we arrived the service was outstanding and all of the staff we spoke to were a real credit to the hotel. Our room was beautiful with a lovely view over the pool and each morning we swam in this before breakfast which was a delight. Breakfast was taken out doors with a mixed selection of buffet and a la carte. We spent our days either on the beach but went on a trip to the mangroves and to visit the fort in Ajman. We enjoyed both but did not feel there was much more in Ajman itself. The restaurants in the hotel were both superb and offered a great menu for dinner. We ate in the hotel each evening. We also used the spa and the treatments were superb. A large party had the hotel booked for the last night of our stay but this was no issue for us and we’re treated to a room service breakfast which was again outstanding. We would recommend but feel it was probably more suited to adults rather than children but this my differ at other times of the year. A new pool and restaurant was to open soon and this also looked to be superb.

Wonderful break

The Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah Ajman.

Layout and design of the hotel, the gardens including the tranquillity, quality of the food, staff attention and service were all exceptional.

We were well received at reception and Divya Marwah, director of rooms made us feel very comfortable and provided a wonderful room with the perfect view over the gardens and sea.

Joan greeted us genuinely, whilst George at the concierge desk, was extremely polite, professional and of much assistance.

Our housekeeper Bhagyalakshami made us smile a couple of times by placing flowers on and around our Ganesh statue.

We were very pleased with the quality of the cuisine and service provided by all the staff.

Pieter, a larger-than-life character brought a little laughter to our experience.

Priya and her colleague who had been promoted from housekeeping, were delightful, and it was nice to meet the head chef and assistant restaurant manager, Gotham.

Both lunch at Aquario and dinner at Vinesse were excellent.

Do not worry if you forget your books as the hotel as an in-house library.

Although we did not use the pool, it is the longest in the UAE, and clients looked very well taken care of.

All the staff were friendly, professional, and made us welcome throughout our stay.

Ideal if you plan to visit Oman.

A genuine place of quality to rest outside of hectic Dubai

Attended a business retreat with our leadership group at this hotel last week, and it exceeded all expectations. The rooms are incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, providing a perfect environment for relaxation after a busy day. The food was delicious and varied, catering to all tastes. The venue's calm and quiet atmosphere made it ideal for both productive discussions and unwinding. The staff were attentive and helpful from check-in to check-out. 
Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays.
