Seapoint Boutique hotel was a perfect escape to paradise! The hotel is rather small, adults only, and the atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxing. I absolutely loved my ocean suite, so much that I did not want to leave the room. Bed was very comfy, and everything was clean and well maintained. Attentive staff was always ready to help and accommodate my wishes. There are not so many nice dinner restaurants in walking distance, but the hotel restaurant is good, or you can take a taxi to Grand Baie. Daily tea time and the local food dinner buffet were nice surprises :). The location is a bit far away from the main attractions that are in the southern part of the island, but many tour operators provide also transfers if you don't have your own car. All in all a wonderful hotel!

Perfect escape

We recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights.

Firstly even though there was a cyclone present on 2 of the days we still managed to get out and about and explore the local area. We made use of the hotels free cycles which were great.
We cycled into Grand Bai both days which is about 5kms each way.

The hotel is very clean and well kept and staff are friendly.Our room was next to the restaurant with a view looking out onto the pool area.

With regards to food We decided on the half board option. In our opinion the food was poor. 
The first night the fish was extremely dry and the second night ( which was a buffet option) was again average at best with several items ( poppadums and bread) both having run out by the time we sat down at 7.45pm. When I asked about these being replenished the chef shrugged his shoulders and told me “sorry that’s all we have”. 
For breakfast the poached  eggs were rock hard and the last morning even the one waiter offered to take back my plate when he saw the state of them!!  
Most of the above is very basic stuff and for the prices this hotel charge I’d expect this to be second nature to even a basic chef.

The drinks were also quite expensive and definitely not top class.

Sadly the food and drinks were a huge letdown when
we were expecting much more.

Overall we wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

True review of Seapoint Hotel

The entire stay was superb. The food was very good and varied. The room was kept very clean. Being adults only the peace was wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer. And if you get bored of the breach at the hotel there is Mont Choissy beach, which is about a kilometer from the hotel. It is a very lovely white sandy beach with excellent swimming. Both my wife and I had a massage which were excellent.

Amazing place and people, highly recommended.

What an incredible stay! We stayed for two nights and it was bliss. Our Seaview suite was amazing so clean and tastefully decorated. The staff were also so friendly and helpful and very attentive. They all paid such attention to detail. Free bike hire and free kayak hire was a nice added touch. The food was 10/10 like
Michelin star standard. Pool was clean and had a lovely view of the sea. Best pool and best food we had in our two week trip to Mauritius! Thank you.

Incredible 5 star experience in our Seaview suite

On the Coastal Road, in a lovely setting between Mont Choisy and Pointe aux Canonniers, in the northwest of the island, Sea Point Boutique Hotel stands on a gorgeous turquoise lagoon in the Grand Bay facing the Northern : le Coin de Mire, Round Island and Flat island. The location near Le Canonniers Hotel  in the heart of a very quiet residential area, at the end of a charming coastal road, makes it restful and calm. The animated holiday village of Grand Bay is only  4 km away. Grand Bay  abounds with boutiques, a crafts market, restaurants (Indian, Japanese, Creole, Chinese) and  evening entertainment (discotheques, cabarets).
