Really not sure how the hotel is classed as 5 star, especially with the unbelievable hotels in Abu Dhabi. In my opinion it is definitely not 5 star! The staff were indifferent and not attentive. The room we had was old fashioned and tired. With discoloured light switches, no shower curtain in the bathroom, no plugs or USB sockets in the bedrooms to charge devices. The place just felt unloved and miserable. 

The whole point of our holiday was to sit by the pool or the sea and relax. The pool is too small and the beach is too small for the amount of people staying at the hotel. So unless you wrestle for a sun bed at 7 in the morning you won’t get a space. There was a lack of staff, no beach towels available. The beach and pool area looked dirty and in need of an upgrade. 

In the end we moved hotel and had a much better time at an actual 5 star hotel.

Not good at all!

Simply excellent! Suggest you include breakfast because you will not want to miss it. The pool facilities are clean and impeccable, the Rosemary restaurant has world class food (best paella) and the service is top notch. A bit further out from Yas Island but close to everything else. Highly recommend it

A must stay in Abu Dhabi for the family.

Nice services, nice room, nice breakfast, everything's perfect! 
The position of the hotel is really enjoyable, near the main attractions of the city. A free shuttle is available to bring you at Yas marina in case.
Whenever you need help, the staff is there to support you; especially Ajai. He's very kind and an amazing person.

2 days in Abu Dhabi

I had such a great experience at the Bab Al Qasr Hotel. From the minute I arrived, the service was warm and attentive—everyone went out of their way to make me feel welcome, but I have to give a special mention to Marcell at the front desk. He was an absolute gem and genuinely made my stay unforgettable.

The food was fantastic—everything I tried was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality and variety were top notch.

I also really loved the pool and beach areas. Super relaxing vibe, clean and well-maintained, with staff always close by if you needed anything. It made it so easy to just unwind and enjoy the sunshine.

And of course, the location is perfect—close to everything, with stunning views and that blend of modern luxury and traditional Arabian design that gives the place a lot of character.

All in all, a brilliant stay. Looking forward to my next visit already.

Incredible Stay – Can’t Wait to Come Back

Lovely staff, great location, nice rooms, nice decor. Exterior windows needed some cleaning and maintenance but overall, well managed hotel. Appreciate the complimentary upgrade the hotel provided upon checkin.  Very unexpected and loved the spaciousness of the suite.
