I was very apprehensive about going to Mexico. But the RIU Yucatan made it the most relaxing and one of the best vacations ever!  We will be back!!

A wonderful hotel in a perfect location,but needs a swing park for small children, food ok plenty of choice

I was a little worried after reading a few reviews after we booked however it was definitely in our top list of places to stay. I would go back again. Everything was perfect. The view, the food, the service you name it it was perfect. The entertainment was great.  The pool bartender Leo was AMAZING! I really was sad to leave him his service was top notch. 

Fantastic Vacation

The resort was fine, food was great especially at the Italian restaurant. Our server Candy was terrific! Juan the bartender at the adult pool was fantastic! Room service great! Be sure to tip these fine friendly hard-working people!! 

Nice time

We had the best trip to this hotel! Me and my friend visited for 10 days from Liverpool, UK and loved it. The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, beds comfy and good air conditioning / mini fridges etc. Food and drinks were perfect; we were one vegetarian and one with a lactose allergy and there was more than enough food for us throughout the week. Al from the Entertainment team was so friendly and always checked in with us daily and got to know us throughout our stay; all of the entertainment team were great at getting involved and there was something on every night in the lobby and the stage by the pool. We also spoke to David one of the managers I believe about the Cat Cafe we seen advertised and he took us to show us where it was and when we could get involved which we did. Location is great, we would often go on a run or walk around the resort daily which is around 5-6km and there is a gym on site too which has most things in you need for a holiday gym! We didn’t really use the pool but the beach was perfect for us; comfy sunbeds under palm trees and the staff are out in the morning clearing the seaweed for the day. The sea was really calm and clear when we first arrived but got a lot more wavy as the week went on but still perfect! They have party nights on a Friday night in the hotel across the road which is included in your all inclusive. We went to both and they were great fun (although we probably had too many tequilas the night before our flight home but this was all our fault haha). Couldn’t ask for a better holiday or hotel and we will definitely visit again!
