We just returned from our fifth visit to this hotel. This visit was marked by the best weather that we have experienced. Perfect temperature, great breezes, one rain shower, and beautiful starry nights. Our room was great, clean and quiet. We faced the jungle and loved it. The wildlife that comes to the jungle area is amazing. We saw many species including parrots and a spider monkey! 
Our AC was great in the room, the water was very hot, the bed was great, jacuzzi tub worked well, and our mini fridge kept the beverages cold. 
The staff is what makes this hotel special. Everyone truly wants to ensure your vacation is perfect. They all work hard. Food was great at all restaurants. 

Fifth time a charm

Great overall service, with wonderful food in almost all the resteraunts.  Bar was not stocked the best and was regularly out of common alcohol, but staff was attentive and came around regularly.  Ricky Rosas was a wonderful concierge, saw him multiple times a day and was solving issues sometimes before they arose. Entertainment was lacking, more towards the quite nightlife.  Make sure you hit up the ceviche lessons and take them up on any tasting or cooking events.  The infinity pool has an amazing view and the beach is absolutely beautiful.  Very clean and tidy, tons of staff working hard to make sure your stay is as best as it can be.

Great resort but lacking a few minor things.

We were pleasantly surprised with everything at the Royal Hideaway. The grounds are stunning, and the beach is beautiful and pristine. The staff are top-notch and the food was great as well. 
Our suite was perfect, a great location close to the beach and pools. 
We were pleasantly impressed by the staff and their enthusiasm and desire to make our stay memorable!
Special mention of the staff including Marian Hernandez who helped plan our wedding with care and awesome support! 
Other individuals who deserve mention are Carlos and Roberto who brought beautiful energy and spirit in performing their duties in social activities. We loved the aquafit classes that were so much fun! 
Ricky, our concierge was  also always helpful and it's clear that they all absolutely love people and their jobs and it shows! Another shout out to Frank, server at the Grill. You were all so friendly, kind and you all went above and beyond! Thank you for making our stay here stay so enjoyable!  We are thankful and grateful!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Royal Hideaway!

Beautiful place, housekeeping was great.  Great service around the pool, nice clean place. We would definitely recommend the place to other friends. Very clean fresh smell in the rooms, excursions were fun. Beautiful beach with plenty of things to do.

Spent a lot of time in the ocean, or around the pool. The fun club people were great. Exal was excellent very helpful.

We loved our stay at the Royal Hideaway! Our concierge Ricky was fabulous and helped us will anything we needed! Bicky our room cleaner was so efficient and kept us comfortable always. 

The restaurants are excellent and had a wide variety for all of the members in our group. 

We loved the small resort with a big resort feel.
