So many bad reviews of this place which I just don’t get! Food in the buffet restaurants was varied and of a high standard, as was the a la cartes that we tried. The resort is huge and the wildlife is wonderful! Our favourite place was the secret pool, and Marcelino who worked the bar there during the day was such a lovely bloke, and he always kept the mezcal coming! Would return here in an instant

Wonderful resort

We had such a great time at Grand Palladium! A huge shoutout to Jovani and Isidro at the Sports Bar—they made our trip even better. From the moment we walked in, they were so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. It felt like they actually cared about making sure we were having a good time, not just doing their job. The service was amazing, our drinks were always spot on, and they always had a smile and a great attitude. It’s little things like this that make a vacation extra special. Thank you both—we’ll definitely be back!

Sports bar highly recommended

My Wife and I had our honeymoon at the Yucaton Hotel and the first night we went to the Colonial resort for dinner. Mario was our server and he was fantastic. The food was amazing. It was definitely authentic mexican cuisine. 10/10 would recommend.

Great food and even greater service!

We preciously stayed at Grand Palladium Villarta and were very impressed so we wanted to try the Riviera Maya Grand Palladium.  We were very impressed with the facilities.  It is huge and during our 12 day stay we were kept busy with the huge variety of amenities,  We tried 6 of the al a carte restaurants, I was able to book them on the app initially, then had to go thru the consierge, as it quit working, but had no problems getting reservations.  My favourite was Sumptuori, my husband like Portofino.  Our least favourite was Bahia a Brasa.  All of the staff are friendly and accomodating.  We stayed at the Colonial and the room was tired and really needs upgrading but was still comfortable.  The trolley transport between resorts is great, as I am 70 and my husband is 76 so walking isn't always preferred.  The whole resort is kept spotless and the grounds are very impressive.  We enjoyed all the critters on the property.  I will definitely consider returning.

Super nice resort

We spent four amazing nights at Grand Palladium Colonial. We loved the walking from our room to the common areas through the jungle pathways, seeing the monkeys at breakfast, watching the coatis from our room. The pools were the best ever! The beach was not only beautiful but also shaded and comfortable. The staff members were incredibly warm and friendly and welcoming, even to our chaotic toddler! We felt very calm and happy here. Will definitely be back!

Perfect vacation for our family with a 2 year old

The Grand Palladium Colonial Resort & Spa is a fantastic hotel surrounded by sugar-white sands and crystal-clear waters which enjoys fabulous views out over the sea and the surrounding area.
