Big Thank you to all the staff at Novotel which made our stay so welcome and amazing ! Starting with Jersey in Reception ,down to pool bar with Oat and Dum keeping our drinks flowing and Top the F&B manager who is a lovely person to talk to and helped us with everything we needed! Great Staff and thanks to everyone mentioned above !

Great Staff !

Travelled to Novotel from Ireland for 2 weeks as two couples and we had the best time ! The staff from check in all the way through to check out were amazing! The food was stunning for breakfast , lunch & dinner. I had a massage in Inbalance spa which was amazing ! I was welcomed with a herbal tea and then afterwards I was served a stunning rose tea & dried pineapple which topped it off ! A special mention to Jerey on reception making our check out so smooth , Dum & Oat at the pool bar for keeping our drinks cold and our glass never empty ! & especially Top the new F&B Manager for making us feel so welcome and could not do enough to make our stay so memorable!

Amazing from start to finish

This was a trip among friends, where there were equal time spent outside of the hotel and inside.

Let me start with the positives, of which there were plenty to write on. The location of the hotel is excellent (for me, at least) because it was situated right at the beach which is accessible. Although for some, this might not be a great location because it was somewhat far from the Patong area — a Grab van takes around 40 minutes to get there. There were restaurants, massages and other amenities nearby, however it was not much of a spot without transportation to getting around. 4.5/5

Next up, the rooms were gorgeous. I had a suite room with a private entrance to each room; on top of a private swimming pool on top of the room, overlooking the sea. The amenities provided within the room were also quite complete, nothing to fault there. 4.5/5

Oh, did I mention the price of the rooms? Unbelievably cheap. Giving another half star to make it 5/5

Now the ‘but’, and also the reason for a low score overall. There was a live centipede found in our shower, and I was not sure if it had bitten but it was crawling on my toes. Now, the appearance of a centipede was not a shock, however the treatment we received for it was. Upon calling the front counter, they despatched a staff who promptly came over… good job. Notice I used the word ‘staff’, not medical care professional, because that’s exactly what he was. He appeared totally clueless as to what should be done, and there was absolutely nothing in his medipack to help relief the pain—or the panic. Unfortunately, I deem the renderance of basic first aid to be a primary factor, for which this hotel deserved no star. 0/5

Excellent location, beautiful ocean-view room, but …

The hotel is situated in a perfect location right on the beach, it's quite a walk to the nearest shop at around 15 minutes. There are lots of restaurants and bars along the beach. Beach beds are 100baht per person for beach beds. The hotel pool is lovely, looking tight out to the ocean, however the hotel doesn't have beds on the beach. The staff are attentive and friendly, especially Shuyaa (Niroj) who was our waiter most mornings, he is a lovely guy so a big thank you to him. The hotel has a new manager who recently moved from the hotel next door. He was super friendly and always went out of his way to say hello and he even upgraded our room as our first room looked out to another building. Not a great view so the new room was a side beach view, much nicer to walked up to. Food was vast, lots of breakfast choices and drinks a plenty. Drinks and food expensive compared to the restaurants along the beach. 
All in all a great place to stay. 

Great hotel right on the beach 

Exceptional customer service Shuyaa and the team made us feel very welcome  during our breakfast dining . Shuyaa was friendly, attentive , professional and the service was second to none . The food was fresh, lots of variety and plentiful.
The Resort is lovely . It’s in a beautiful location and walking distance to the Kamala beach shops .
The room was clean and housekeeping excellent. Bottles of water provided everyday . 
We requested to be in a higher level room and the reception staff were very accommodating with this .
