Pool

4 for the location and friendly staff. The internet was excellent for the first 2 weeks but they changed the log in process on the third week and it was terrible. It continuously cut off and wouldn't connect back. Reporting the problem did not make any difference. The pool area and the surroundings are well maintained. The room was clean and fresh. 

It would be a good idea to have a water station and an ironing station near the lift. The hotel can supply refillable bottles with their logo and do away with plastic bottles. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Will probably stay there again due to the location, cleanliness and friendly staff. 

Value for money

The hotel is very modern and stylish. The pool is nice. The location is great as it’s very close to the beach. The rooms depend on the location you get. If you get a pool view, it is good. If not, the view is ugly and not private. We had to keep the shades drawn all day, and the lighting in the room is dark. The bathroom is small. The drains are gaping holes with the strainers detached. There is no restaurant in the hotel. Small Refrigerator provided but no microwave. The bathtub in the chic room was a nice touch. Staff is friendly.

Kata Fashion stay

Service was bad!!! Upon check in at 9pm, I booked via booking.com for a pool view, the staff did not confirm a single thing of my stay such as room type, number of nights etc. Although he brought me to my room, nor did he provide any room orientation! Upon discovery of my own, I realized that he provided me a room which was a lower category and I paid for a better room! Feels absolutely being cheated! It makes me feel like a fool. Went down to reception and showed it to him the room I booked for, he was apologetic and asked me whether I could stay in the cheaper room for a night first as it was fully booked. I am not sure why he thinks that he could downgrade me without a single compensation? Do I need to remind him that I paid for what I deserved? He only thinks of his situation, but does not empathize on guest experience due to the hotel shortfall???? He then asked me to rest in the earlier room first while preparing me for a new room. As I am starving, I decided to go for my dinner and come back later. He then provided me with a room neither is a pool view but it is better as it is not facing the road! I did not take any photos of the room as it is not amazing, the photos in booking.com of course do look nice, but don't trust it. It is all about photoshoots. Upon check out, I was asked to wait to inspect the room and yeah, why not as I will be chill at the poolside which is just next to the reception. No one comes back to you. As a gesture, I went back to check on the status, I was being ignored yet I also realized that they provide welcome drinks to Caucasian guests and I get absolutely nothing upon check in. Think thrice better you booked. Location and F&B although is good. But maintenance, up keeping of the property and Front Office are bad.

The stay was great, I’ve come to this hotel for years and would highly recommend!  The rooms are a good size and clean and the chic room has a big bath tub which is super big and nice.  Overall we always have a relaxing stay and the team is really nice.
