Uzbekistan Travel Advice

Entry requirements differ by country. The Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office issues country specific travel advice including Health, Visa and Vaccination requirements.

Entry requirements:

  • Entry requirements: All travellers should familiarise themselves with the entry rules for Uzbekistan before travel.
  • Vaccination certificates, PCR / antigen tests are no longer required at any points of entry - road, air, or rail.

Passport validity:

  • If you are visiting Uzbekistan, your passport should be valid for three months from the date you arrive.

Visa requirements:

  • General: If you have a British citizen passport, you can enter Uzbekistan as a visitor for stays of up to 30 days without a visa. Entry requirements for Uzbekistan are the same for all travellers, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.

Travel forms:

  • Registration: You must register within 3 days of arrival. If staying in a hotel, hotel staff will complete the registration paperwork. If staying in a private house, your host should register you with their local district OVIR or on the electronic registration system Emehmon. If transiting Uzbekistan in a recreational vehicle or staying in tents/camping, you should register online via the electronic registration system Emehmon.
